I dump it in here
1. Why do birts have the best start outs?
I mean, they get a rifle squad than "can" fire one sniper shot at start
They can move base at early game and still have their MG start bunkers blocking the start. So even if they leave their spawn they can still "defend" their old one.
Dont but ToV... Or CoH
really, i love this game but it have to grow for a few more years. So its
A) Balanced
B) All noobs are gone from Automatch

It is fine to have noobs in automatch.
If you play enough,
I like only play automatch...
It will match you up against people that win. It takes some ajustment before it gives you good people to fight. If you win 10 times in a row you will probably not be fighting noobs after that. Losses make it try to give you worse players.

yep, 2vs2 and higher nearly always suck in vCoH.
But 1vs1 in vCoH can be "fun" (as long no ToV BS is involved).

If I get shot and it's a gay medic fixing me up, he's not gonna be fondling my balls while he does it. You can't patch a chest wound and suck a cock at the same time.

2vs2 is great fun imo, even with randoms you just need some luck
.
I'm at 25 - 12 now, unfortunately at least 8 of those losses were caused by utter incompetent teammates. (No surprise 6 of them were Brits who didn't have a clue what they were doing, spamming mg nests/mortar pits, omg) I think I'm finally past that stage now though so it's becoming more enjoyable and less 'random' as you get to play with capable people.
You still get the occasional dumbwit but I can live with that!

Reasons to buy ToV
1. It helps support Relic. I know they have their shortcomings, but I heard they made a game called Company of Heroes which is pretty sweet.
2. Unique units. It's rather tacky to force people to pay for the special new toys (seriously? these guys should take a tip from Valve on this one), but it comes with the territory which isn't too bad on its own.
3. Three new campaigns which are creatively made and tactic-oriented, so there's your Saturday night virgin gaming jamboree right there.
4. The Operations (well, one out of three, anyway) are all a nice break from ordinary multiplayer. Panzerkrieg is damn good fun (once you figure out the ups and downs) and Assault is a free mod in Warcraft 3. Stonewall is tower defense minus any semblance of fun and what you have is an overpriced stand-alone expansion pack.
It'd be worth it were it $20 but it makes the $30 tag because of the sheer volume present there. Three campaigns, three gamemodes, and nine new units
sounds
like a lot even when it's a lot of show and no substance.
What would make it worth it, though, is if the fellows at Relic sat down and took the idea they shamelessly ripped from Team Fortress 2 and developed it a little more. It would be
extremely
satisfying to not only have to earn new reward units yourself, but be assured that new units would be put on the market. Alas, however, then the balance itself hangs in the balance.
At this point I ramble but, in sum, there's not much out there that's better so, if you have the money and the brain damage, go ahead and get it.

The AI is more fun to fight now, but I guess that doesn't have much to do with ToV. If you have ToV will the AI use the special units?

I really have no incentive on buying ToV whatsoever. Even new units are extremenly ugly. I expected a lot more. This isnt an expansion, just an add-on/update.

Played 3 or 4 skirmishes and haven't seen them yet.

At least the teller mine one hit kills Staghound, m8 with armor plates doesn't get one shot killed.

what i liked best about TOV so far is the changes they did to the 2v2 map lorraine. no kidding. everything else isnt actually an improvement. the new units are purposely imba to make people buy the game, the new game modes are either compstomps or support noobish gameplay (as does the whole expansioon imo). yeah, panzerkrieg can be fun sometimes -- if its like 3 oclock in the morning and youre too drunk to play a decent game. all in all its not that much what you get for buing a 25€ game. but again, youll eventually have to because you will be on a huge disadvantage without access to all those new units.

Teller mine should ALWAYS kill a skirted M8, seeing as it does 400-500 base damage plus 2x modifier vs greyhounds, and a greyhound with skirts has 300 HP... So 800-1000 damage should always kill a 300 HP vehicle

The new t17 is a nice middle finger to the PE players. No more IHT's and Pgren blobs, at least until the unit gets nerfed, but I can't complain, can't complain at all.

T17 is a barrel of laughs.
I was playing automatch earlier and my T17 went 16/16 on 4 Grenadiers. I think the guy I was playing had a stroke. There was lots of swearing and then all the sudden his units stopped moving and I finished out the game.
