I'm rather curious here. Anyone thinks that offmap arty is a little on the insanely powerful, considering a random lucky shot can instant wipe out vet and stuff? As well as instantly clearing 'fortifications'.

Well that does seem particularly true with sector artillery, it more or less an instant arty shot on a unit with pretty much no forewarning or a way of avoiding it. Of course I believe it can't be used on enemy territory, but you will just have to pray it doesn't annihilate a Vetted squad in one go.

Personally I think FOO is the only BS off-map right now.

I agree, it's because it comes very fast even if it's a small area but it's absolutly deadly.

sector artilery does have a warning - the sector goes yellow(or green, can't remember) on the minimap, and gets outlined. You really can't not see it coming. Plus, it's not instant, you got quite enough time to GTFO if it's dropped on you.

Also note guys, the timers on the abilities are INSANE, they will be increased very soon, and you shouldnt see any ability with under 1 minute timer.

You are also seeing a LOT more offmap than you normally would, because the companies werent reset AND everyone can choose ANY doctrine ability.

This will not be the case forever.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

That's good to hear. I despise all these "I win buttons." Would it not be better to keep these to one or two per match?

They will be kept to that.

As I said - they will be doctrine restricted, and you will need to spend PP to use most (Some get free uses).

Good to hear man, Spending PP to use them sounds like an absolutely fantastic Idea.

At the moment, (as far as Strafing Run and Bombing Run go) you only get 1 unlocked initially, and have to buy more uses with PP.

Mind you also not all off-map clickables are in game yet, we are still in the process of finalising some doctrine lists so expect to see a few more off-maps (not necessarily artillery ones) coming into play the next few weeks.

We will also be posting up the doctrine lists once they have all been finalised, or one faction list a week, in preparation of their introduction into EIR Wink.

Can anyone think of a good use for the Blitz Precision strike? I mean it hits where it should with one shell
but anyone not tottaly drugged will just move out of the way and i doubt the single shell will kill either and emplacement or a building. Probably only usefull to force an atg to move. Suggestions?

Try playing some more.  I've watched a few replays now where it has absolutely OWNED a weapons team.  They can't pack up before it hits them.  Simply brilliant.

Stick to HMG/Mortar etc.

It destroys weapon teams.

Nice item, means you can take out that 57mm or at least force it to move while you make that armored push, or kill the HMG so your infantry can assault.
