1 is not enough. It should be increased to 2 or 3. I just had my company destroyed playing with Vet3keeps who had 2-3 games on his account against paks 130+ games account and burn4meplz and this thought struck me. The chance for reroll, is this thing implemented yet? Cause nothing that died came back to life. The total amount of pps I had in my company went down from 21 to 14, and I am reinstated with 4 pps. What if I had used offmaps for 3 pp? Then that single PP would be all I had left from the game.
This probably has happened to others than me. I think it should be brought to the attention of the devs that 1 extra PP and a reroll that doesnt work are meager awards for teaming with new players.

Reroll does work, ask people who got lucky. It's like a lottery.

ya reroll works.. had a few items return to me after they god done blown up.. 1 game one of my vet 3 units got precision killed, gone... go to launcher after game and they still there! yah! lol.

yup it works ask baine lol he ran over my leaderboard 400 xp storms. i laughed when we won and the proceeded to laugh harder when i saw i got em back from hell lol. Worst part is i lost them the next game when they got run over by out of control sherman.

Either way Smokaz is right.
Stakes should be much higher. if someone has 1-10 games vs someone with 100, they should be getting like 5 PPs extra. The more games the one guy has the higher it should go. You shouldnt get 1 extra PP for having a 1-10 game company and going up against someone with 30-40 games, then get that same 1 PP from a 100-120 game person. im not sure how the ranking works exactly but,
if it was like every 20 games was a higher rank. each rank higher should be another PP.

pp is the way to balance out vet companies
the knowing that you not only loose the (currently low xp for vet requirements) vet units itself that you will loose pp additionally will make high vet (more powerful) companies retreat earlier units
to give +5 or +10 pp training advantages wont help because people that quite (e.g. after 7 min) because they are frustrated about their noob will get them without loosing anything...
and this system can be abused to get very quick pp (for gimmick companies and offmap "spam") through playing with smurfs as teammate
