do you guys think that free storms, rangers, AB and commandos are a huge disadvantage for players who doesnt play these doctrines or not?
why do you think so?

in my opinion they should be unlockable at t2, i think its clear why.

well i think t2 and  t1 should be free, so they would be free anyways then, but they replace some of the uber doc abilities allies have..

and YES it would make a huge difference to get them after 3 games, not for free.  even if u would get them for t1, that too early
t2 is fine imo, u had to play some games already to use them (its elite inf)

In my opinion, Airbornes, Stormtrooper and Ranger should be at least a T1 doctrine for 25 PP.

I mean, i have to pay 25 PP to buy a Officer, aswell as 25PP for an 88.

Defensive gets initial access to a Stuka... granted it's not as flashy as Rangers/AB/storms.

I don't see an issue with Allied players having access to their elite infantry. Aloha, you didn't even mention Storms, or FSJ squads or LGF. So I think it's safe to say your being unjustly biased right now. Put some thought into what your saying and think about all the options next time.

ok i also mention axis elite inf, of course.
so u think the stuka is a good unit? cost effective?

for pe, falls should be t1 because pe has shitty inf anyways
all other elite inf should be t2

i see rifles..u should see them too Wink
many inf or AB doctrrine players dont have a single rifle squad in their companies, maybe a few (because they are so cheap and best at recrewing) but tons and tons of AB (6 or more in supply) and 4 rangers (or more in supply) in their companies, some atguns, quads, 4 shermans and u have a great company!

its easy like this:

ranger/AB to kill tanks, sherman to kill inf, sniper for support, maybe an atgun and/or a mortar = win
u dont lose units because u have a cheap triage and if u would lose sth, just call in some more, u have enough Wink
thats my experience with playing allies in 006

Under the previous version I thought it was weird that you needed to play several games before you could even unlock basic doctrinal units.  It's better this way because it makes no sense to have to play your company completely differently for the first 3 games.  I don't even know why I'm bothering to respond to a thread made by aloha.

Lol so he says pe needs elite infantry early and americans don't -rifles are not better than pe infantry-, then triage is only infantry now, other doctrines don't have a way to heal their troops, I asked for another non-elite infantry unit a part rifles. I can't see how 6+- and 4+- are tons and tons of elite infantry... but anyway I am bit confused about what you say.

aloha is just a figment of our imaginations, a combination of all thoughts we have when we get beat by someone and instead of blaming our skill or lack there of we immediately call OP!

I like the system. If you have elite infantry it

1. As soon as you pick that doctrine, you FEEL like you are playing that doctrine right off the bat. As it stands I think almost every doctrine has something special they get.

Infantry - Rangers
Airborne - uh... airborne
Armor - T17s

Defensive - stuka *should be added to doctrine list* (and YES they are cost effective if you aren't getting your moneys worth with these... L2P)
Terror - afaik doesn't have a special unit
Blitz - Storms

Commandos - Commandos
Royal Arty - 25 Pounder and Mortar Emplacement
Royal Engs - Mortar Emplacement *should be added to doctrine list*

Luft - Luft inf and falls
Scorched Earth - Nothing
Tank Hunters - Nothing

So you have 3 doctrines out of 12 that don't have their very own units. Seems fine to me.

In old EIR airborne/rangers/storms were a tier 1 or a tier 2 unlock IIRC.

So make them all a tier 1 unlock, simple.

Those are tier 3 unlocks, quite expensive in terms of PP, plus it costs you one of your two tier 3 abilities.

Ranger/commando/airborne/storms/falls are arguably very powerful and cost nothing.

They should be a tier 1 or 2 unlock.
