Dude, 20 cpm is one click every third SECOND. Does that make it clearer to you, just how low it is? Is it so hot in belgium that your senses have gone all syrup`

CPM is kinda meh tbh, I dunno about other people but I have a tendency to work in bursts of high CPM with areas of low CPM while less shizzle is going down.

If anyone defines CPM=player quality ill beat you with learning stick!!!  Angry Angry

The only thing you can define from the numbers ALONE is that the person has been clicking, the rest is assumption, now if this program allows you to see WHEN the person clicked, then you can combine that program with replay, and it will be a very interesting tool of analysis ^^

well, I mean, if CPM is under 10, thats pretty reliably a horrible player.  I know for a long time I was between 17-25 but in the last year or two I've bumped it up to around 30-40 typically.  There really isn't much you need to do past 40cpm really...at that point its just reissuing orders that are already being carried out...

Well in a game like Starcraft or something Similar where alot of actions are required APM/CPM is a reliable indicator of attention and skill/control past the 2nd minute(first minute is mostly just Workers/scouting in SC2)

Past 40 it's mostly reversing (especially more than one vehicle at once)

Well that also brings in the fact that CoH and Starcraft are in two very different realms of strategy. At one end, CoH is a game where your actual strategy will get you far, I can only describe it as a more open-ended strategy where many, many different play styles can be seen.

At the other end, there's Starcraft, where player victory is nearly completely based off of pre-established routines and builds, with victory being determined by who has chosen the superior build, essentially an unnecessarily large rock-paper-scissors simulator.

Not exactly, how fast you can execute what you gotta do, like your build in the beginning, and maintaining economy buildup while constructing more units, ect.

And if you scout a enemy going 1 way you probably will change your build to counteract him, but if he set you off believing hes doing something but he actually does some other strat you can get screwed.

And its not all rock paper scissors, you do have to micro to beat a superior force.

Basically what I am saying is that starcraft proboly requires way more clicks than CoH, just that alot less of those clicks are controlling his military force, And if you rely solely on executing your predetermined build, you can easily get buttfucked.
