The point of this post is to decide if the cost of Luftwaffe infantry should be decreased?  LI have lost there abilitie to repair but still maintain there cost, meaning that they have lost some of there effectivness but at no price reduction.  They are similar to volks, except they have 25 less Hp and dont have any basic upgrades.  So there 5 mp less for less health, less options and now no repair to make up for this inadaquacy.  

To find a par, I will compare just straight Hit Points (hp) in relation to each orther.

11 Volks = 2 035 mp, 3300 hp

12 LI =  2 160 mp,  3300 hp

This shows that at these levels you pay alot more for LI than Volks when considring just the hit points, on top of this LI have less options for upgrades and no repair.

LI at 175 mp, 12 LI = 2100 mp, 3300 hp

LI at 170 mp, 12 LI = 2040 mp, 3300 hp

As you can see at 170 mp LI would cost 2040 mp to match the volts 2035 mp for exactly the same health.  So this shows that at present LI are over priced, therefore my recomendation that inlight of the change of the Luftwaffe Infantry losing there repair abilitie and not having less upgrade options they should be lowered to 170 mp per squad.

I would be cool with that, and it makes sense.  Although that's only like, 50 mp I would be saving anyways.

I get them with my reinforcement package, but they are useless since I don't get any upgrades with em.

LI with the luftwaffe doctrine are great with the tier abilities making them 170 MP with all those upgrades would not fit..

saying some thing does fit, is not arguement enought.  Does the post not show you at present they are over priced for what they are now.  Forget docterine abililties, we are just considering like for like, Volts compare to LI.  Dont forget that those docerine specifice abilties cost alot of PPs.  Volks can get zeal and the 10% less incoming fire for terror, and 15% less income fire for blitz.  However we are not talk about docterines, we are talking about what it price is now, and at present it is over priced when you consider the above post.

You can't compare LI to another unit and say..MAKE LI CHEAPER TO BE INLINE WITH A CERTAIN UNIT! Remember, you can get G43s for them, and loads of buffs from their doctrine making them extremely powerful.. like I said 170 MP is far to cheap for an infantry unit that will become powerful with doctrine abilities

There you go allied lover! Wink  The units effectiveness has decrease after the reset (no repair) and the price has stay the same.  Is that correct, yes or no?   YES, therefore lower the mp cost.  G43 50 pps, 60 mu,  MP40s 0 pps, 65 mu.  FULL STOP.

But your miising the point at present becuase of the lost of repair LI mp cost is slightly too hi, so needs to be adjusted to match this change.  Or am I suppose to pay the same for less?!?!?!  ???I Did not realise that there was inflationary factors in the EiR world Huh!?!?!?!?! Undecided

i think the 5 MP cost would be fine, i can def say as an allied player they are quite weak. and it doesn't matter if doctrine abilities buff them, because you need to have units buffed before you consider doctrine buffs.

The difference between volks and luftwaffe infantry is that the luftwaffe doctrine buffs luftwaffe infantry a whole lot more than any wehrmacht doctrine buffs volks (even zeal or assault grenades is not as good as that stat buff luftwaffe gets + G43s).

Im curious:
If you would do this entire thread for Sappers(200MP, 240Health in 4 Man, 6/3 Supply, not that many buffs) what were your anwsers?

On a side note:
Riflemen(195MP, 330Health in 6 man)
Piat Commandos(180MP, 390Health in 3 man)

And thats just mp and health

I would say that sappers really didn't need to be nerfed in the first place way back when, when their cost was increased, piat cost was increased, and availability nerfed. One of the three would've probably been sufficient.

Oke seems like Coh-Stats is wrong on this one:

According to attrib\attrib\ebps\races\allies_commonwealth\_europeinruins\soldiers\

then the first 5 rgd all starting with commando

then health_ext:

All Commando Units have 65 Hitpoints.

So:

Commando Squad: 6*65
Piat/HMG/Mortar Commando: 3*65
Sniper Commando: 2*65

On a side note: attrib\attrib\sbps\_europeinruins\races\cw\soldiers\commando_piat_squad.rgd
uses attrib\attrib\ebps\races\allies_commonwealth\_europeinruins\soldiers\commando_weapon_crew.rgd in its loadout

where as the commando_ambush_squad.rgd uses
attrib\attrib\ebps\races\allies_commonwealth\_europeinruins\soldiers\commando_weapon_crew_piat_team.rgd
