so am i right in saying the stuart tank has no canister shot anymore?
thats very sad seeing as it was the only bonus to a pretty poor and fragile unit, and seeing as the canister shot is already under used and highly priced i dont see what the reasoning behind it was. i fear the stuarts will be even more seldom seen then they already are.

Did you even read the patch notes? The stuart is being changed into an actually useful role - (god knows the brits need something to kill pumas ect. like an upgunned puma)

It also has m8 armor now... so it won't die to 2 schrecks shots at long range anymore :p.

yes i did masacree and i would still much much much prefer the old stuarts in my army, i never had any problems with taking out pumas etc as brits anyway. i did however rely on canister shot with my core for infantry rushes and to hold the rear.

In my opinion, removing canister shot before actually implementing a more anti-vehicle orientated gun was somewhat of a fluke. Unless I am wrong in assuming that the stuart gun will be tweaked?

Stuart with canister round was reliable to take down infantry, no random with that. + the stuart could kill things like marders, mortar halftracks etc.
I have never had a problem with pumas as any of the british doctrines.

blobs with schrecks and mp44 have been many a time a problem though, which were canister stuart was atleast an option.

I don't see why you took stun away from the t17 it was not op considering you have tread breaker on the light at halftrack which is even more annoying then the stun. With the stun you don't have to go repair afterwards and it doesn't even last that long. I suggest giving the t17 tread breaker as well to even things up or atleast give it more penetration on its main gun. You have to do something considering its an unlock only for the armor doctrine.

Yeah, once the T17 gets the LATHTs health and armor, loses it's turret and it's gun becomes absolutely useless against infantry except when firing in focus fire. We can then definitely give the T17 treadbreaker.

Just because it's an unlock doesn't mean it has to be OP. Would you call the T17 an inferior unlock to Assault-Flammen Grenadiers? I would personally even call it superior. One difference more - T17 is a T1, Assault-Flammen grens are a T3.

theres is still one huge problem with the t17 which our balancers probably didnt see: it doesnt need its stun to get 15+ kills.
stun was just a nice upgrade which increases its survivability+ made axis players use their tanks very carefully.

9pop for t17s = fun times!

*German Engineering second Repair kit
-Scout (Same Price)
-Light (+5 Munitions)
-Medium (+20 Munitions)
-Heavy (+40 Munitions)

means 70muni for the seconds repair kit on a medium tank (stug, p4 etc.)
and 120muni for the second repair kit on the panther and the tiger.

is that correct?

Abilities like Stun, Treadbreak, Sticky 100% engine dmg, are all very bad for gameplay in my opinion.

T17 is kinda annoying becuz it snipes at long range, should reduce its accuracy vs inf at long range, plus sniping retreating units is stupid aswell. If they need to be closer to be most effective, you can counter them with schrecks, instead of being kited al the time. Schrecks have less accuracy vs moving vehicles so if you keep your T17 moving - like you must do vs Piats - then you can still use it as usual.

FYI, Stickies don't have 100% damage engine rates.  Only if it penetrates does it damage engines (hell had one game it killed a dang gunner on panther somehow and not hurt the tank at all! Argh!).  And I've had countless games where multiple stickies fail to do so (hence why Tank Reapers helps improve stickies due to that penetration issue).

You forget that the stun in that case allowed it to kill your infantry while your tank was sleeping.  Now you can effectively protect infantry with a single vehicle to stop it from getting those 15+ kills, and also use cover against light vehicles.

T17 already has worse accuracy at long range. Its good against stuff out of cover, at short range. Lets see how these changes improve/worsen the game *before* we start up the WhinaTron3000 again;
