So lets say a Tank Destroyer PE puts a bunch of Shreks in multiple Infantry Support Halftracks and supports them with a motorcycle and a couple armored cars, how do you stop this? I went up against this the other day and felt like a child in the onslaught of schrecks and armored cars, not to mention the Halftracks suppress infantry very easily. I was thinking a Bofors but it's stationary :C and t17 had also crossed my mind but those schrecks might still completely destroy it.
Please don't say mines, mines are the counter to everything.

Its a mobile, hit n run strat.
Its weak vs a defensive static army.
Inf HTs and ACs are fragile. It doesnt take much to take one down.
AC are weak vs units in heavy cover.
ATGs + Boys AT or Zooks (put in cover) should do fine against this.
ATGs for the long range, if they try to circle your ATG you use your handheld AT.

Don't forget about BCMMG's with AP rounds.
Those will get shrecked long before they can take tank destroyer halftracks down. |

Skaffa made some good points. I'd only add one more thing: constant LoS. Use units with large LoS radius (or put units in buildings) around your flanks, this way you can easily predict enemy flankings and prepare for them. Knowing where they are coming from is like + 50% win chance.

I tell everyone this but always bring 10 minesweepers cheap LOS building scouts that can go across the map. so cheap no micro is necessary to save the puny lives of 2 men.

I dont think you understand how he's making the decision. You can pop a squad like that in a building and it will have decent sight range for 1 pop. |
