currently it is very easy to get your entire army to vet 3.

only a few units like the tigers are still hard to get to vetted.


I suggest:
Make it harder to get units to vet 3 (increase XP requirements).
you can be proud once you get even somthing like a tommy squad to vet 3.

in return, every vet 3 unit will get some new ability or changed ability to make it better vs what it already kills.
the tommy squad for instance, could get a bit more range on their button ability, or the rifle nade smoke becomes bigger.

really special units like the KT could get something new: give it the supression fire ability the churchill has.


however, there is one thing what is the most important to make this change work:

Vetted units will have their pool cost increased, which will make sure there will be no vet 3 spam companies anymore.
because if you would want that, you either have to reform your battalion in a really special way or just pay a lot of PPs every time you play.

but you did fight opponents who had armies made completely of vetted units right?


its currently more like having vet on every unit is normal, and having no vet on em special.

True. Maybe a cap on the amount of vetted unit you can have? Or a cap on the amount of SP you spent on vetting them. Same difference.

It's definitely too easy at the moment.
I don't really agree with the extra abilities, I'd prefer the devs to be working on current issues before adding anything new!

Quite an interesting Idea actually Leo.

The availability pools will need a dramatic change (Made larger) so that say, a vet 2 (at +1 pool) and vet 3 (at +2 pool) dont kill the army builds, but do make sense.

I think it  will be good balancing, vet3 hordes are terrible because of their effectiveness.
And it will be cool to decrease start pop to 23 for prevent double tank start Smiley

I've learned that vet is expendable.

By doing so, I don't get demoralized in a game when I lose it, and I don't baby it so much.

I consider any vet I get to be a thing of pure luck and nothing more than a bonus.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

That's right hicks, and with growing of your skill numbers of vet units will grow in company. I always use my single vet3 rifles (with nades, stuky and bars) in start core, they can stand much more that vet0, and they do their job. But when i see start core from all vet3 rifles... and then next blob with vet3 rifles...lol dont know what to say
Great example of vet are ATG's, with vet3 without any docs or APR they penetrate panther front without problems. My vet3 ATG with APR kill a 1\2 health KT in 4-5 shots in front in a game few days ago.

P.S. is blobing a cradle of vet3 hordes? Really dont know, never played by blob Smiley
