I think where I go wrong in my company is with a massive overuse of pointless infantry, however due to tank choices there is nothing else to spend MP on.

Could somebody take a look and tell me what needs revamping?

Core

Puma
Stormtroopers + MP44
Stormtroopers + 2x Panzershrecks
Pak 38mm
Mortar

Assault

Flammenwerfer Halftrack

Puma

Motorcycle x3

Infantry

2x Stormtroopers + 2x Panzerschrecks

2x Stormtroopers + MP44

2x KCH

1x Grenadiers (Had MP)

2x Volksgrenadiers (For Recrew)

2x Stormtroopers (For picking up the weapons of any fallen comrades)

Tanks

Tiger + Heavy Repair, Improved Barrels, Smoke

Tiger + Heavy Repair, Improved Barrels

Anti Tank

2x Pak 38mm

Support

Mortar Squad
MG42 Squad

Obviously I'm Blitzkreig Doctrine, and all my advantages are currently upgraded to Tier 1.

Thanks Smiley

sell the flammen, its useless. and you can probably give that stormsquad in your start 1 less schreck (enough AT).

big problem i see is how are you gonna take out hmgs with all that inf without tank support?
i guess you need to hold out with the light vehicles at start, and then get1 tiger on the field later.

u should have gotten assault or precision strike so u can take out hmgs with the inf or take out atgs with precision strike so your tiger can kill the hmg. improved barrels is useless for tiger.

Mortars tend to do that job for me, even if they don't take out the MG they usualy scare him away, and I usually have an assault squad ready to kill them.

And yes I regret taking improved barrels, I think I might ask Killer to remove it for me.

Whoever uses trenches to 'advance' is probably not even a good player, trenches just fail at being effective to be honest. You should really sell the flammen.

Good?`no, theres no need for it, build trenches, add units - pwn.
Well thats what i learnt in EiR, always have 1 flame halftrack now on.

hmm the biggest problem i see is that you lack frontline troops. You have a lot of storms, but very few regular inf, and you only have tigers, and no filler tanks. I would start by replacing the 2 kch and vanilla storms with grens w/ lmgs or something

If you need a Flammenwerfer to counter trenches then there is something very wrong with your playstyle and/or level of skill.

Trenches are easly countered by any kind of indirect fire. Infact I'd say getting your units in a trenchs is like being served on the serving plate, your guys are all bunched up in 1 spot and you run into the possiblity of them all getting raped by a single mortar shell.

You should just get a Puma instead of the Flammenwerfer, it has more uses and it's alot better at performing it's role than the flammen ever would (unless you went for both Terror Damage buffs).

Remember, it's not the vCoH trenches with ridiculous buffs. In EiR they only give garrisoned armor afaik(or maybe only green?).

So, anything will kill it, really.

trenches are gonna do more dmg to u than to enemy, cuz probably you will be flushed from them, and then enemy will hop in...then you have to force him out...

thats like saying ATGs,HMGs, Bars, RR's, LMGs, and shreks will all do more damage to you because you lost them to the enemy...........

facepalm...

thing  I saw with trenches...teamate builds trench, put troops in,they attack us,some flamer shit ,nade or whatever...guys in trench are killed or retreating, and then enemy jumps inside, and suddenly instead of them on open we have to fight them in trench...

if they were so good, everyone would build them...just build sandbags + wire...much more effective, and cant be exploited against u...

The thing you learn about big tanks is that they suck, its boils down to this simple equation 2>1. Your oppenent can field much more m10s and will beat your tigers hands down.

Yes if they are supported properly they can be good, but if allies make a break through your lines or counter attack your tiger is done for with its amazing top speed, especially after a sticky. Trust my I know I lost a vet 3 jagdpanther this way. I learned my lesson the hard way, spam cheap tanks and support with Paks.

Well, my build used to consist of a panther, 2 stugs and 2 stuhs, then changed to 2 panthers and a stuh, until I unlocked Tigers.

So basically, get rid of vanilla storms & kch, remove a tiger, and in replacement - grens with lmg's, and a couple stugs/p4/stug & stuh?

I'd rather run two tigers tbh, if you leave your tiger alone without AT support against M10's then you deserve to have it lost  Undecided

that is not true, there is one big tank that doesnt suck and thats the pershing
reasons are:

- paks are a joke in this mod and ap round 57mm are way more to fear
- axis have no tanks lile M10 pwnage
- it get many doctrine buffs and affected by two very good T4s
- its fast and and with obm unstoppable
- you can get 2 of it

if you want to play with a big tanks play armor and not blitz for this sucking tigers

the tiger get pwned by everything (airborne, armor, inf with tankreapers, vanilla us companies using 57mm with AP rounds, roos, fireflys...)
