I have a serious suggestion about assault grenades:

Perhaps they could not be changed at all but instead made into a tier 3 unlock. The flamegrenadier whatever guys that have the flamethrowers could replace them as a tier 2. This way less people will spam assault grenades because they won't be able to have them PLUS mines/healing cars, hummels etc.

So, if Ass Warfare had been a T3 - moving it to T4 would have somehow "fixed" it because less people would have had it?

It's not a problem with a lot of people having it - it's an issue with the nades overperforming for their cost.

All this would do is have a wait time before people could use the ability. In It's present form, I can see SE players taking IA over the Hummel purely for the fact that an IA company will perform so much better than a company with a Hummel or two. This is reinforced by the complaints of Hummel's currently being inaccurate.

The IA spam company would still be perfectly viable, just delayed in It's deployment.

Who said anything about AW? You did not me. I'm talking about fixing assault grenades temporarily. Assault grenades are strictly anti-infantry weapons that can only be used once. They are spammed constantly, but if players would have to give up valuable artillery pieces/scoutcars/ healing cars/ opening barrages to get this ability, he/she would be sacrificing a pretty fun company just to specialize in a one-time-use anti infantry weapon.
If you want to nerf it, then nerf it. I'm trying to think a little differently because although I hate them, some players have a lot of fun using them and I think that they should all still be able to have a good time with PE.

It will achieve the aim of forcing squads to stay constantly mobile, you'll still kill HMG's with them and probably kill ATG's(or force move them which is the same thing)

It just won't be the Strafing run it is now. Changing it's Tier won;t change it in anyway. all the current shenanigans are still valid

The unlock section has 3 different trees; Offmap abilites, Unlocks and unit unlocks. You cannot put the Hummel inplace of Incendiary Assault because it would go against the doctrine structure.

I don't see any reason why IA should be a T3. Assault in Blitz is a T2, and is remaining that in the rework, AFAIK.
