No, nothing at all like that, because Nebels aren't practically instant and don't take away 75%+ of two squad's health.

Also, if 3 players are all blobbed up... that's their own fault. Not to mention Nebels don't barrage and then hit one second later.

yes, as nebel spreads out and mass pins everything for like a square mile.

Pretty standard allied airborne stuff to strafe your shreks in the critical moment you need AT, or your LMGs when you need them to fend off the RRs.

I dont understand why we cant make strafe function exactly the same way as the Brit Typhoon rocket strike functions.

Reduce the damage and change the plane and fire animation and BOOM instant balance-able strafe, something that's a copy of what we've created and doesnt suffer from normal strafe problems.

Nebel's probably the best arty piece IMO. It all falls at once and has monster suppression. Its great. Far superior to a howitzer anyways.

Nebelwerfer does nothing alone. If there's two of them firing at the same target area or better yet near one another it will start doing something. Six rockets will always lose to Twelve Rockets. If there's 3 Nebelwerfers- you can carpet bomb the whole Tanteville city and suppress EVERYONE within the area. Or if you like blobbing infantry near your triage that is known to the enemy. 2x Nebels firing nearby it will ensure rofl and make the squads heal 2x longer than they normally would and if you are lucky the triage might be low in health and the barrages would utterly destroy it leaving the men burn in the bundle of fire.

Though that's 14 pop of Artillery. it is beautiful- fun and fast to use. But ultimately everyone gotta agree. For 14 pop you get something small and fast to get behind enemy lines to get rid of the annoyances. 2 AB squads for an instance or a simple light vehicle or 2 Howizers.

1 Nebelwerfer =  Minor Annoyance
2 Nebelwerfers = Massive Annoyance
3 Nebelwerfers = Firestorm

Nothing but 12 - 18 Rockets ontop of allied assault. During Axis attack, or during Axis defence.

except when howie hits any infantry, they are dead, tanks can die to,and in most cases you wont just recrew weapons, you will destroy them...not to mention range...

It was 1400 xp, and to this day no one has actually proved having a firefly that came close to it.  Tongue

Their have been empty claims backed up by "I swear!', but nothing more hehe.

 -Wind

Actually, I had a time where I had 2 vet 3 fireflies + 2 vet 3 command tanks, now, I lost the fireflies to storms and even then usually when massed... They killed a lot of vetted axis... ahhh, good times, good times :3, (usually every 200 to 250 vet one of my fireflies would die, meaning I had to vet a new one, once had a game where almost my entire army was destroyed though, never recovered from that before my Company of heroes got fucked and crashes every game )

Is quite the few patches ago though :p so I might be outdated.

I find it so hard to get the 'last shot' on fireflies, usually the firefly does a good job taking potshots at Panzer IV's, Tigers and Panthers but getting the killing shot for XP seems harder.

That's where having 2 of them owns as long as your team can back you up: I can easily own a tiger at long range with 2 fireflies + a cct, scaring a tank offensive off and doing some serious herrasment (including killing that vet 3 tiger :p ) while your team can back you up anti infantry wise (and some support AT, mostly handhelt and ATG's).

also just 1 extra firefly can make quite the difference with good coordination, as long as you are carefull with it. They are glass cannons, be very carefull, try to stay on long range so you outrange them, and lure the enemy into traps, don't go on a reckless chase, use them in defence.

Judging from the shitload of posts that I wasn't expecting whatsoever. This is what I can make out
Allied Offmap Arty > Axis Offmap Arty

Allied Weaponry Ability > Axis Weaponry Abilities(IE:Button, Armor Piercing,Supressive Fire, Marksman Shot)

Allied Onmap Arty(Howie, Calliope) > Axis Onmap Arty (Nebels, Hotchkiss Stukas)

Stickies > Panzerfaust (obviously)

Pershing/Firefly > Most Axis Tanks

Allied Infantry? I guess in certain aspects they are, I guess it all depends on the circumstances.

Anything I'm missing or something I'm wrong with?

In certain aspects yes, although axis do have the best elite infantry compared to allies. Falls and KCH can dish out hurt even on 2 mando squads

Allied Offmap Arty > Axis Offmap Arty except that the most broken is the terror rocket strike.

Allied Weaponry Ability > Axis Weaponry Abilities(IE:Button, Armor Piercing,Supressive Fire, Marksman Shot) of course because most axis stuff doesn't need abilities to make it worth while.

Allied Onmap Arty(Howie, Calliope) > Axis Onmap Arty (Nebels, Hotchkiss Stukas)
sorry to say but hotchkiss stukas rape. and there also non-doctrinal

Stickies > Panzerfaust (obviously)
Zook<Shrek

Pershing/Firefly > Most Axis Tanks
Firefly only when the dumbass axis runs from the firefly and helps me out, if he charges with even a p4 its over for the ff. Pershing is Panther equivalent and a tier 3, axis tier 3's are kt and tiger both which school a pershing.

Allied Infantry? I guess in certain aspects they are, I guess it all depends on the circumstances.

Anything I'm missing or something I'm wrong with?
