Why cant bren carrier be dmg by small arms fire?

Just compare it to almost any PE vehiachle(except panther/IST/hotch) which can all be dmg by standard rifleman/tommie .

The Bren used to take damage from small arms, but them people complained.

"My units die when they get shot! I demand a buff!"

Now Brens are immune to small arms, and require dedicated AT to take out.

I guess you find this completely different from the infantry halftrack or the armored car, carrot. Who both struggled because of how infantry heavy EIRR normally is and how everything that has something remotely similar to a damage-dealing weapon was able to dent and wear this down. Roll Eyes

except inf halftrack is not,if u have like 2 squads with bar,in green cover,even if they are supressed,they will win...and at range,they win even easier...

and lmgs damage bren carriers as well as g43's, bren carriers can damage inf halftracks too, so it looks like if you upgrade your weapon you can damage and even destroy infantry carriers, sounds good to me

puma 280mp 65 fuel

bren will pin inf very quickly,can button vehiachles,and with ap rounds can destroy halftracks/puma,basically everything that is not tank. Puma has a bit more survability cuz of phase armor,but in every other aspect it is weaker.
so I wouldnt rly call him expensive  Roll Eyes

Bren MMG 240 MP 40 FU 4 pop
Flammenwerfer HT 260 MP 40 FU 5 pop

Think this comparison is a lot more relevant to the discussion, really.

The bren is far superior to the flammenwerfer in terms of survivability, maneouvrability and range, as well as versatility.
However, the flammenwerfer has a gun that is more efficient at killing infantry and can kill infantry in cover - something the bren is far from being able to do.

But, at the same time - I doubt the flammewerfer being effective vs units in houses is enough to warrant for it costing actually MORE than the bren carrier MMG in terms of manpower and most importantly - popcap.

I would recommend increasing the bren MMG's cost in light of this.

Bren carrier need the RCA specialty to suppress/pin, otherwise you're going to be shooting at them for a while.

AP Bren MMG wins a Puma any day with button and it is being relevantly cheaper too. + it can own anything with armor made of paper with AP rounds
