 The stagnation is a direct result of the dev teams lack of motivation due to the childish, insulting behavior of a minority of the community.If you remove that cancerous minority, the team will see the positive feed back from the rest of the community. And so starts the cycle of motivation leading to development.

For several years the dev team had turned the other cheek when community members put up insulting posts. Finally after years of people bitching, whining, and criticizing a mod they play for FREE, the Dev's have had enough. Many gave up long ago and moved on. Once again they are moving on. Now even the top man EiRMod has had enough.

But you want to blame the Dev team. You don't think the actions of insulting assholes on these boards are responsible at all?

You think the devs should just accept all the insults and work even harder to get shit down on the boards for you to play. All the while ignoring the insults thrown at them.

Dude its the internet. PEople type what they want. Me, personally, id rather hit my head against a brickwall before i take part in a balance discussion. But fact stays if peeps are unhappy with, lets say, the state of balance theyll post it. And with without these people u can just flush the mod down the toilet.

sigh... i miss when i started here, it was towards the end of the old internet based doctrine.. i remember when the new launcher was made, i could sit in launcher for hours and get game after game after game with multiple players.. it sucks, i honestly dont know what happened, i was never involved in the patching and coding.. i dont whine too much, just put up realism crap, but whatever, i still play, i sit in launcher and look for games.. and dont find any

hmmmmm, right now 17 players in chat, 3 games in progress and 3 waiting, shoot. wish i didnt have to work, iam just logging in at wrong time!

oh well, here is hoping stuff can get done and people come back..

You got your priorities wrong Tank. We are players , we don't contribute to the mod,  we PLAY IT.

We can donate if we want or do some other small tasks (like the tutorial translation which was done by some people from community [if they are needed and/or approved by modders) , but most uf are only players and have no saying in the mod whatsoever and blaming community for the lack of motivation for updates and saying it is Spartans or Demons fault is plain silly.


If all community members would have 100% control over doctrines, balancing rgd matters etc, then you could blame community as a whole that specific trolls contributed that some people don't want to mod it anymore.
but it is not case, no one of us have anything to say at the end what will be in the mod.

If anyone is unhappy with the state of the mod, it is the makers, because in the end we play what you/they provide us with.

We have a similar issue. It's just something developers and the community have to deal with- maturely. I hope for the best for you guys.
