Nah, they're too slow to move and you can kill it without direct hits, because of the big crew they are likely to die by any artillery, especially incendiary weapons.
I'm not too worried about the nerf, most likely they'll change the price, the pool cost and maybe the crew members. It would be worse if they make it doctrine bound and give it to RE.

from what brn told me, it's going to completely replace the 6pdr once they work it out and the acpr rounds stay as engineers only.

Yeeeaaaaah, this thing is gonna be nerfed to useless levels.
Such is the case with anything new introduced. It'll be quasi-useful in a few months down the line when people finally realise that they actually over-nerfed it.
