What do you mean by, Bar suppression has no penalties? Does that mean it will suppress infantry and deal the exact same damage asif it aint suppressing?
seems kinda OP even if it was a T4

Yeah that's what he means, no dps nerf on the BAR when suppression is activated. It will retain same DPS with escalating suppression modifers when active.

On the Jumbo, again it is armor but it was used in conjunction with ground forces and in combined arms roles, such as assisting infantry in breaking a well defended position. Same role the howie has in assisting them. Armor is about their heavy tanks or various tank-unique unlocks such as the Pershing, T17, and appropriate escort infantry. Would you not see a problem if airborne and infantry players can buy RRs and throw them on engineers and riflemen? Hence a reason why airborne gets it.
Yeah realism is all fine and all, but in the confines of the game, EIRR does follow some realism.. for example no US squads have MG42s or Pak38s or Shreks or MP44s... those are axis weapons... realism much there? RRs were used by airborne units, M9 bazookas was the standard AT weapon for infantry squads and ranger units. Airborne units did not get issued Pershing tanks in the war, and Infantry companies historically had access to off-map fire support sections a majority of the time, while units like Patton's armor was too mobile and aggressive to carry them (though an M7 priest could logically be put with them as their 'arty', not airborne).
Anything else you want to add then?
well i was tallking about you and you wanting realism. Seems you want everything to focus around AB. You dont like the idea of armor at all. And the devs said offensive, defnesive, and mobility. Yes the same devs that havent completed AB at all. So i think this doc is open to ideas.
And oh ya the jumbo does produce synergy for infantry breaking through a defensive line. But couldnt you say Jumbo is synergy for armor as well as it serves as a tough tank that absorbs damage while the strong tanks go in for the kill. Or the pershing can be synergy for the inf since its armor and high attack can be used to punch through heavy armor that maybe blocking the inf pathway? I know i wish i had a mobile AT gun for my infantry alot of the time when they rush into a tank.
And many of the T4s in inf doc has nothing to do with t1-t3.

Apparently you haven't seen Covering fire or G43 slow without penalties. Anyways the upgrade is to Glider Riflemen and they have a much higher pool value then regular riflemen plus airborne have even higher pool values. So as you see you can't really spam them the same way you do in Infantry or Armor companies.

Huh? What is this supposed to mean? What tank said wasn't "make a draft and we'll implement it". It was "make a well thought draft that follows the D.D, and if it's better than what we have, and if it follows the D.D., we might implement it.

I would say half the penalty when suppression is active for removing it would be an bar spam of doom(even tough that is happening allready)
no penalty for sprint?
wtf?
so we can get even more blobs of sprinting airborne that kill everything but now its harder to kill?
why not just make it it gets no penaltys exept for the movement pen
then it can kill all things while just being slow.

From a quick glance it looks awesome, I'd be opting for the bottom tree every day of the week. It fits the criteria perfectly. Hopefully we'll get to see it in this form or some modified version in the next patch, good work

I answered this question already, you cannot spam glider riflemen BARs because airborne units have much higher pool values. And as you may have noticed all buffs are to airborne units only, so for example the camouflage is only to AB HMGs and not regular HMGs and AB HMGs have higher pool values so you cannot spam them like you do in Infantry and Armor companies.
For example I only have 4 BARs in my AB company, that's because I have 4 AB RRs.
So if you see a player that has 10 BAR Glider Riflemen then he will not be able to field even a single Airborne. Are you getting this now?

It's a T4 for something that's not a very big deal, the slow is only for few sec anyway. I don't get what you're trying to say? No penalties except for the movement penalty? I don't get what that's supposed to mean.

Glider AB are probably going to become normal riflemen (no more beefy AB stats, with some sort of ab skin with maybe small extras) that can paradrop by the way.

hmm bottom t3 should be a slight price increase on satchels and grenades if they can throw 2 at a time, u can kill a hummel with 2 stachels or level a church so they should be something to counter this becoming 2 OP,
and top t3 bar supression with no penalties should be a t4 cause that is a little too awesome for a t3.

Yeah, you're right, it would have to be a separate upgrade with increased cost.
I have moved the BAR suppression.
