When someone drops to due connection or whatever problems, and his units start to retreat, sometimes they act stupid and takes them whole a lot time to retreat. Players are concerned if they had some important vet unit on the field(like vet3 tanks) so could there be some general sense not to vet hunt these units then?
I mean most of the players wont probably rush stuff just to vet hunt his retreating vet3 Tiger or whatever, but some might.
It's ok to kill it if he droops in middle of combat,so his unit is still fighting and killing your guys, but if he is harmlessly retreating no need to kill it.

It depends on how much wrath those units are responsible for as to whether or not I'll let them retreat upon their user dropping. If they've wrecked a great deal of havoc then they'd best hope I can't catch them.

If a player drops I'll always let the unit escape. Assuming of course I didn't already have the unit cornered and dead to rights. If he dropped because I'm about to kill it it's gonna die. I can't wait until the Warmap so more people learn the benefits of Vet hunting

Depends on the unit. If it's a king tiger on the wrong end of abbeville, then the POS will take 10 minutes to get back to spawn, and will be lost to cap timers anyway. I'll defo hunt it down.

If it's a P4 that's a screen or two away from it's spawn.. I'll let it go, just this once.

depends to who belongs this units

there are several on my list who cry "vethunter" when loosing a vet1 unit or zero vet unit (one starts with T and ends with ym)

these guys i will hunt down merciless

and then when something really pissing me off the entire game (e.g. a god damn sniper with millions of kills or some fucking artillery) these will be hunt merciless too even when player dropped

Anything that belongs to this list will always be hunted without care:

- Snipers
- Elite Heavy Armor
- Stormtroopers
- Airborne
- Any Artillery unit

Did player drop or not these are what most people focus their attention on.

What mysth said, I generally don't vet hunt DCed player's retreating units though sometimes these just get stuck and the only way to end the game is to kill them.

Depends on the player tbh.
There are like, five players that i'll make it my sole aim to inflict as much damage to their vet as possible.
Also, people who horde vet and think they're good players because of it.. lawl.

If I see it, and it's in range, it's dead. If it's a 10 second trip down the road to go kill it, it's dead. If I'm half the map away then I dont bother.

Vet's only gonna bite me in the arse later on. I expect people to hunt down my vet mercilessly, so i'll happily take the opportunity to put down anybody else's upon sight should it present itself.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I want my units to stay completely still if I drop, at least then they can still be of some use. Better yet, grant control to the next teammate.

A skilled player fights an opponent.

The rest chase a dropped players retreating unit.

You consider chasing a retreating unit from a dropped player a skill myst?

You're saying that a skilled player CAN'T chase a retreating unit from a dropped player, because skill is somehow inversely proportionate to being a dickhead?
