I believe there could be a Ability for a Defensive players. A Doctrine Unlock that is pretty neat.

Mine Salvage.

When ever a Pioneer minesweeper squad finds a enemy mine, they will defuse. Once defused- you get the mine you defused and you can lay down the salvaged mine as your own.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

I suggested it for a defensive because the doc is a lackluster and plus everyone being able to do it makes mines somewhat obsolete tools. Therefore one Doctrine being able to turn enemy mine field into their own rewards defensive the most!

guys be stealing mines that are stolen only to steal the thing that was stolen and then get stolen back by stealing what was stolen in the first place only to be stolen and then stole by the other guy and get stolen by someone else then used but then it gets stolen. ZOMGWTFBBQIZZLE

it's just ironic that you want to give an ability to a unit that is usually on the front line looking for mines for your advance. last i heard advancing isnt on the list of defensive's forteits lul.

However do note that I wanted this ability JUST for the Defensive Tier due to it being a lackluster. If everyone were to be able to salvage mines...it'd be a disaster as mines are already rarely used anyway.

i like the idea of everone getting it, maybe not the basic mine sweepers but the engineers/pios upgraded with sweepers (demo kits for sappers?) just adds a whole new stratagy and possibly whole new meta to come.

(btw can it be done so if we steal a teller, it stays a teller?)

Keep minesweeper away from your mines and guess what, mines can be the most cost effective tool ever.

Sticky = 60 mu

Mines(2) = 35 mu
