This isn't a thread claiming that reward units are OP, instead its about bringing in all units into the main EIRR game. Right now alot of people are claiming that they are unbalanced (while this might be moderatly true, just a little tweaking here and there)

The main comment here is it brings a new variety, and with it a whole new meta which people just aren't used to/expecting. Like the first time someone gets eviscerated by someone who knows how to use a tiger its scary and frustrating and at the time seems OP.

After playing a couple games some things have become apparent. People love to leave atgs behind a covering force but often leave a flank open in which i can slip an P2 behind and destroy it and get out quickly (just like an m8 can) instead of adjusting for this gap players cry OP.

A p2 can be 2-3 shotted by an atg/m10, 4 shotted by m18's, and 2 shotted by sluggers. While hard caps are a possibility, right now i think its the period of adjustment to the new tactics/strategies these units require so in my opinion it would be nice to bring these units in full time (maybe to be removed/adjusted/capped in the future) And while my opinion of the balance team is at the moment quite high, the only way to really see what needs adjusting is to see what various players can come up with (like Panda, whos insane ability to make crazy companies beyond what anyone else can anticipate)

I agree, I found that when I treated the PII company like an Allied Armor company that the game just falls into place. M18 backed by ATG + HMG and BAR squad did well for me the whole game.

That makes sense spartan.

But we got used to using certain tactics and units. In EIR stats and values changed but the main roles never really did.

Now the devs throw in some new units that are meant to be really unique. That throws off alot of peoples planning, which i think was done on purpose. Not sure if u can blame the players fully that they cant adapt fast enough, but more it disrupts the games flow. Imagine giving Allied players the toughest heavy tank in the game tomorrow. It will roll over everything if people axis cant adapt to it. Or fragile fast cheap jeeps with RR on them. Players will be like WTF.

Ya im totally griefing P2. I ran into half dozen vet 3 P2s over some games, and ya they tore shit apart (mostly my various teammates). Since Inf doc is surprisingly inf based, we werent really prepared to get outmaneuvered and for ATGs and Zooks to be totally useless against their range and speed. But im sure the devs will adjust here and there and i will have to adjust my tactics, in time.

I think another wrench in the gears of COH tactics with the addition of these new troops, is that they wont always be purchasable .Like i may go many games without seeing one, my team gets complacent and bam out in the open with p2s(or whatever other unit) everywhere.

SO i guess i welcome the new units once balanced. Not sure if it get rids of some the charm that COH brought, by now having factions starting to blend their specialties together. Allied panthers, axis m8s/staghounds. Thought those areas were meant to be separate?

i am for and against this thread. im for the idea that people should sit back and adjust before yelling OP. but at the same time, im sure there are many changes that need to be made to the units to make them balanced.

im against the part saying that you want to see units in full time. once the warmap is in ill be happy to see units you only get at certain times.

or depending on which side is winning you get certain bonuses/units/off maps. would add a huge dynamic to the long term game.

Thats the general gist of them

The losing side will gain a slight bonus to the rewards they recieve after a game (and its not on a 'points' system, rather a random roll for rarities and number of)

You know how i know you're lying? Because I'm the only person who has so far had even 2 vet 3 Pz2s, let alone half a dozen. After one of them died, it's brother is now the sole vet 3 Pz 2 in the game.

Well, the temperature in the UK dropped by a full 10 degrees overnight, didn't it?

That pretty much explains how I'm coping with it.

As EIRRMOD said, the reward units are meant to be 110-120% better then there counterparts. There is also not an endless stream of P2s, they costs rewards points at this point in time, if someone rushes you with P2s, kill as many as possible, who cares about losing a game, in the end they are hurting themselves.

This is same for the warmap, these new units are not common, you wont get an endless amount of them, so people, like vet 3 units, will be careful with them so they dont lose them. I believe EIRR developers should be commended with this innovative idea, yo can have fun with units that are above average (Omg it feels like we have our old doctrines back).

I frikken love the P2s ( BTW p2s dont have vet tables, it doesnt state in in the launcher fool )
The Anzacs are an awesome niche unit!
Sluggers seem abit lack luster tbh
etc
etc

I just dont know why this thread even popped up, do you not use your head? do you really want to bring everything back down into black and white? Im extremely hopeful that you didnt see it in a warmap sense, and that you dont lack intelligence to see this simple concept that the developers have created.

It definitely adds a whole new aspect to the persistency, because reward units are limited and can actually be 'lost' when they get killed. (I.e. no new purchases of this unit for a significant amount of time)

Tbh, while they might be "easy" to kill, P2s really do tear Inf Doc a new one. If you field armor (atgs are practically useless) you get hit with shrecked clown cars or marders en masse.

Sounds like M8 companies with either M10s or ATGs

Tbh in taking on ATGs I'd much rather grab an M8 than a Pz2 - and if anybody's got the authority in these matters it's probably me.
