EXTREMELY underwhelming. Even tank hunters and scorched earth g43 panzergrens was messing me up and giving me casualties, and thats with a LT in support to buff their stats even more. I dont even wanna think about how skewed it would be against commandos without LT, or the T4. If TH or SE had been smart and brought munitions HTs to support their AI inf, it would have been completely one-sided. The buffs to commandos need to go up since other than minor, almost unoticeable buffs to light vehicles being three-shotted by different buffed axis AT, the name "Red Devils" imply that it was supposed to buff commandos. Commandos have always been unpopular and underwhelming.

I would look at it reducing smoke recharge time, which is now what 180s+? Which is probably a unfair balancing up against fireup, as smoke while giving you survivability seems to be a affect which a) wont always cover the whole squad and b) you seem to be able to "leave" the area of effect which counteracts your T4, the "moving accuracy" buff.

pretty sure that a) t4s are NOT supposed to make your troops invincible and b) you just got your t4 earlier today, maybe try it a little longer and experiment with a few different builds before trashing it...

Also, reducing the smoke timer?  Yea, we need more get out of jail free cards...definitely.  Because heroic charge and smoke every 90 seconds isn't enough...

If you want smoke recharge cuts go for middle T4.

And that alone, tbh, is better than all of red devils Wink.

Just remeber that I had the Top T4, and I completely dropped commandoes because they still seemed fragile and worthless with it, imma gonna go for middle t4

surely it shows that commandos doctrine isnt balanced then, if 1 t4 is definatively more popular than the other choices available.

Well in that case deadbolt popularity has decided that Red Devils is the best Tier 4 choice.

It has the most players using it.

Tbh the best T4 in Commandos is Enigma Decoded. Followed by RAF support (even though it's not fully working) and THEN followed by red devils, which is just utter shit.

+ one million.
Still the best, still ridiculously good.
Red Devils LOOKS good as a primary choice, but really it's just an accuracy buff. Stack it with the LT and vet and it's.. okay.. But really it's on Commandos. With stens it really doesn't make a difference. They're just a little MORE rape at short range. With blank mando rifles.. well, just no. Pool costs won't allow for you to make this effective at all.

Tet bonus looks good though.

We probably need to look at some of the abilities in the commando doctrine, it's quite a 'meh' doctrine IMO

Don't know why'd you want to drop a commando sniper behind enemy lines, it has no cloak, it'd be a terrible idea.

Red Devils + Commando Officer (Vet 2 Lt. buffs straight off the bat) and Rifle Commandos makes for some pretty decent Enfields to be honest.

Not what I'd call T4 impressive though...

At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.
