i believe it should come down super quick. at the exact point its been clicked, so if its a moving vehicle, it will miss, however, if a tank is stationary, it wont be able to accelerate fast enough to get out.

....kind of agree with that (not sure if it should be exact, but fast).
Makes choosing your target require a bit more thought. As is (despite what people say about dodging) i think this ability is a powerful weapon to kill vet tanks. And to add the ability that it hits moving vehicles pretty well, isnt helping. I think it should only hit slow turning or non moving vehicles. Which is actually still super super useful since it would have a high % to hit, and its ability to kill tough tanks with descent HP left without having to chase it down, that alone makes it really useful. Scares the crap out me for having a vet pershing with lest than 50% health. Cant blame a player for crying  if a vet tank has 1/3 health traveling down the road behind friendly lines and boom, dead vet from magic guided missile.

I think the super splash should go and everything should be fine. It most likely would make direct contact with slow or non moving vehicles but miss vehicles on the move.  Not this fire and forget and WINNING!!! ability.

Well when you compare this to precision strike (which is ok),WP strike (which is total shit), this is much better...

how much is it for a second rocket? thats the problem with T2s, is limit of numbers you can buy and SP that it costs. it is really messed up. WP strike is so shit, you should get 2x free uses, and a max of 4x uses. the x7 should be x1 use, and a max of x2 uses (which im sure it is) and cost like 10SP for the second use.

also its being proven as we speak how various this ability is. i really like demons idea. give the orange circle, then take 3 seconds for it to drop, reduce splash a bit, and bam.

be kinda gay if a t2 misses all the time

yeah but how many T2s ALWAYS hit their target ALWAYS do SOME kind of damage? fuck how many times does precision strike miss? well it hits where it's supposed to, but a skilled player can move. out of the way in time. that's what bugs me most about the x7, i dodge precision strikes a fair amount of the time, but even with moving vehicles i still take at least 5-10% damage.

+100000000000000000000000  Needs a major buff.  Make it OP just cause Allies are getting pwned by the Axis Fan boys!

or make WP so it actually hurts somebody. I think if it does critical hit it causes skin irritation plus watery eyes.

yea this seems a case of needing to buff other t2s rather than nerfing this one.

No, this still needs to be nerfed. When you have a wounded tank almost at your spawn being killed moving at full speed on a ROAD, there's evidently something wrong. The splash damage 100% needs a nerf, because from what I've seen, a lot of X7 kills are from the ridiculous splash damage doing nearly as much damage as a direct hit. It's stupid. I'm pretty sure all the Axis players would cry and whine if any Allied call-in could reliably kill a damaged tank like this, so it's a good idea to give this some sort of nerf.

Yeah, well, just putting that out there again since some people still think the X7 is a very dodgeable offmap, which it is most certainly not, from my experience of having many tanks, most moving at full speed, slain by this atrocity.

No Kat, surely after 5 whole pages of more or less on topic discussion of the ridiculous splash damage, it's safe to assume it doesn't have splash, right?

I really do wish it be a warning then a suspension by mentioning anything about "axis bias/allies bias"

Make it OP just cause Allies are getting pwned by the Axis Fan boys!

It is not healthy to bring up, if allies had it, axis would cry and visa versa
or
if axis had it, allies should have it to.

Any submittable information into balance threads should have no existence of any mention of "if they can do it, so should I"

Not pointing the finger directly at you jstek, im just stating how it annoys me when people bring that kind of argument, i hope others will agree.

Riki, i forgot to delete that comment lol, as i suggested after how to fix it, possibly, imo.
but yeh, strafing run is also a doosy to balance, however i think my suggestion would suffice.

I'd like to add that unless you were moving the moment it was fired, it will most likely hit you.  The only vehicle that can really escape from it when at a full stop is the M10, and that is if it's lucky and doesn't decide to turn or hit something that slows it down.  A sherman or pershing will usually always get hit the moment you notice it's been fired.  From my experience anyway.

I dodged it with a cromwell a few days ago, and the cromwell wasn't already moving when I saw the orange pulsing. When I saw it i just reversed and it missed by like 5 range
