The only reason I would pick a G43 over an FG42 is because of the slowdown or suppression or whatever it is now. FG42 seems to me to be the superior weapon out of the two.

Well I suppose it's a matter of opinion but I'd personally use the munitions on other accoutrements for my Falls instead of purchasing a rifle that's only marginally better than the standard one.

no other units gets more two AI option upgrades, and falls had 3. rifle nades, fg42's and g43. the only other is tommys with nades and bren.

The reason it was removed was too much flexibility on them. You had 3 AI choices and 1 AT choice as main weapons.

Id say both volks, grens, tommies, commandos all, ab get a plethora of upgrades comparable to the selection of fsj.

Oh well. They were pretty good with g43s. Guess someone took a hating to them!

Not 3 different characteristics with 1 AT choice, which gets less viable considering there is a AT version of such squad which provides much better results, and the squad has faust anyway.

And regardless they still have two AI choices, whats the problem?
