Yeah, this is why I normally go check my own branch of statistics and not humour somebody by following their train of logic and failure to be specific.

But now I've gone to check the RGD's, the garand has 0.35 long range acc, 0.55 medium range, 0.75 short range.

Which is anywhere between 6-9 shots to make those 3-4 shots happen at long range, and 5-7 at medium range and about 4-5 at short range. That's assuming the rifleman squad is not moving as well, but I'm not gonna be that arsed to push a simple point.

Still a significant amount of extra staying power.

Also, tank shell survival stands.

Sod it, I've got screw all better to do. *Grabs popcorn and settles in*

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

95health? you mean 380hp and just inf armor while airbornes got 420 health and airborne armor (by default) or rangers got 390health and elite (by default) or commandos got 390health and soldier armor (by default)

not saying that some suggestions here are good or bad just saying some people need to get the facts straight

and talking about hp of single men without saying in same sentence that other "elite infantry" has 50% bigger squad sizes is either biased or retarded

Airborne, a tank shell will kill a squad member. Rangers, a tank shell will kill a squad member, Commandos, a tank shell will kill a squad member.

Also, larger squad sizes create larger clumping and can make tank shells more damaging while the squad is at a larger size, making first shots particularly more effective against them.

Guess what happens when a Stormtrooper gets hit by anything less than a Pershing shell? Oh wait, it doesn't die.

Throw enough darts at the board and you'll eventually hit what you are aiming for.

Just because you've hit the bullseye doesn't mean it's good. It's only good if you consistently hit it, or hit it first time.

Missing 12-15 times before hitting it means your shit.

Seeing the metaphor or would you like a clearer explanation?

2xMP44 is definitely overpriced

I mean storms are good and survivable vs anything yes, but for 95 MU and on a superior, more expensive in MP platform, I would expect them to at least be equal to BAR's. BAR's without even the +1 from infantry, if I'm not wrong, will beat the storms with 1 or 2 guys left alive. That's without using suppression fire.

Both are AI upgrades, you pay extra 100 MP on storms compared to rifles, thinking they should be able to stand up to a less expensive AI upgrade (BARs). I'm sorry I need to compare two upgrades to show my point, but BARs are a pretty close upgrade to 2xMP44, so that's why I'm comparing.

In addition, MP44's suck at long range, unlike BARs which are still fairly good. And oh yeah.. no suppression fire.

Too bad Hicks you didn't hit it with your 16 Garand shots.

Fail cancer and aids, stormtroopers will end the engagement with either everyone alive or with just one guy dead.

Mmmhmm.

Guess who's branch of logic I was following to get myself there? Yours.

Guess who's branch of logic I used to correct it and get the right results? Mine.

Nice try though.

Keep your fail cancer and AIDS to yourself

I'd say storms would win with 2 or 1 guy left, at close range, not gonna talk about long range, because that would induce fail cancer and AIDS comment from you

They still don't get the utility of SF, and they pay for cloak and high HP in MP and pool. Should we start the argument of how spammable and effective rifles are with BARs instead?

Either BAR price goes up, or MP44 price goes down.

F, C and AIDS.

I wouldn't "say" storms would win with whatever. I know for a fact they win every engagement with either 1 casualty or 0 casualties at close range, assuming no SF, no medikits and no doctrine abilities.

According to nug, MP44 DPS is 38, BAR is 36 (dont even know at what range??)

Using that, and using squad health Storms (95x4 = 380), Riflemen (55x6=330), their squad health isn't so different, and DPS is only differing by 2. Yes if the storms get lucky with autotargeting, and they all target the same rifle guy, they will take out each rifle faster, than each storm will die by themselves. But this doesn't always happen, and they tend to target different guys (especially vs riflemen with 6 guys.., riflemen are more likely to target the same squad member on storms (4 men))

Am i doing this right or wrong??

Very very very wrong.

Your first mistake is actually reading what nug says.
