This is more a overcoming racism then 'Americans win ra ra ra' This could just as easily apply to the British except by this point in the war they were taking Pilots anywhere they could.
Besides, anytime 12.7mm rounds sink a destroyer is awesome in my books.

The first impression is pwetty, but I'd rather watch this same stuff photoed in the eyes of a pilot from Luftwaffen. Tbh it'd be much more interesting to see German pilots fight off B17 Bombing fleets and British Lancester Fleets.

Sadly enough, in a dive, no. P-51 is straight win though. ME-262 had a lot of issues....like all the German wonderweapons. |

Do you know how shit the Me-262 really was? lol, its speeds weren't much faster in realistic flight than a P-51 and it had a nasty tendancy to explode if it got hit at all.
Shit German plane is shit.
Like the late war BF-109's....wooden airframe is fail...

At almost 100mph faster then a P51 I'd expect it to outrun it. The 262 certainly wasn't a good plane. Far to expensive for performance and resources. You'd be better off taking FW190's for cost.
