Yes. They are really doing this too XD

http://game.worldoftanks.com/news/general_news/wargamingnet-declares-naval-warfare

Personally I think this is good as world of planes and world of battleships hopefully wont be as repetitive as world of tanks. And even if it is it will still be good for a few months of fun.

It may be true one day they may all combine for World of Warfare if the financial means exist.

I guess WoT was great success for such a bold move by them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30dXrUm3o6g

Even though most of us think it sucks now.

Ugh shit, I only got off my NF addiction a few years ago, and now this?...

Hopefully it's as good as or better than Battlestations Midway/Pacific on a grander scale. That'd make me happeh.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

It'll be world of tanks, except on water. And if World of Tanks is anything to go by... it will be very lame.

Possibly.

But world of planes or world of warplanes looks like something fun if you enjoy air games.

Mal man, stop trying to compare everything to world of tanks.  Look at warplanes, the maps are vastly bigger and the planes aren't 'driving' on a 2D plane.

The Warships I'm the most excited about, especially since they've confirmed carriers.  It's going to be what Navyfield SHOULD have been by now, a 3D game.  And the smaller ships will definitely maintain their use throughout the game, and it's also been confirmed from the devs that in Warplanes you will not have 1930 planes against jets, etc.

Definitely looking forward to this, looking at the screenshots it'll definitely blow Battlestations Pacific out of the water, and that was my favorite WW2 naval game to date ^^

Most of Mal's whining about WOT involves getting owned, and losing money because of it.

could be fun but i'm a plane guy myself so WoWP will be my bag.

I guess next is World of Guns? World of Footmen? World of Medevil? World of Chariots? Horses, Calvary heh. they could keep goin'.

I think a world of calvary would be fun. be sset in the 1700/1800's or so, lots of men on horses, some with guns, some with swords

I'm sorry. How foolish of me to predict the quality of an upcoming title based on the only other game those people have made. My pessimism is completely unwarranted.

I still find it hilarious that your hatred of the game comes from getting owned.

I do wish there was room for more tactics in WoT though :| its just too limited. They have a very great idea though. Like how tanks module hitbox's are relatively accurate.

The only issue with WoT limiting tactics is team communication. That is where most of the issues come in.

I really want to get enough people for Company fights.

Tbh, if the maps were 2-3 times their current size it would be ideal... Flanking might actually be a viable tactic. As it stands, maps are small enough to have a good division of people go to every flank and have it covered - and still be able to shift people between flanks in time to help should one start getting overrun.

Bigger maps might make Mediums more useful as their speed can actually let them do something constructive other than be support fire or late game flankers.

Yea, but even on the small maps a push by heavies should allow mediums and lights to breakthrough pretty easy.

I need to unlock my E-50 and E-75....
