They are slightly worse than a MP40.

And they have a 50%+ acc/dmg modifier against nubnubs.

I hear both, personally, if you get GGs then you should get the top T3, but if you get the top T3, you should just be getting BARs.

Personally I've had much more success since I had switched from GGs to BARs. The most success I've seen with them is used in conjunction with flamers and smoke grenades. They aren't for on the move, they are far better off either in cover on defense or pop out of HTs.

Theyre an iffy MP40 on a much better platform. But youre only saving 15 MU from using BARs, which are about 50 MU's worth better.

They *Can* work, but really, BAR's vastly outperform them, especially if you have 3 BAR squads.

Functionally, they are slower firing MP40's. This means they fall victim to the 0.2 moving accuracy, making them pretty pathetic at attempting to assault anything other than vanilla infantry.

Personally, the only reason I'd ever go for them is to hear that trademark 'phut phut phut phut phut' that they make. xD

I've suggested countless times that GGs should be cheaper, they ought to be 50-55mu, and only come with 4 guns, then with the T3 you would get +2 (coming out to 6x guns total) which would mean for the price of 4 BAR squads you could get 6 grease gun squads, and im pretty sure 6 grease guns would be just about as tempting as 3 BARs.

There is nothing funnier than when grease guns waffle in and rape everything. Top t3 in the 3x3 grid is epic if you use a lot of smoke. Grease guns are so damn cheap. I used to run bot and mid t3's on 4x4 with grease guns and it was pretty effective. Much more fun than using BAR's.
