You need several redistribs.

C++ redist

.Net framework 2.0 or 3.0 (Cant remember)

XNA 2.0

Direct X - best to use webdxinstall.msi.

Except it says install .net and install XNA. It needs to say install OLD .net and OLD XNA.

Each is just a different framework *shrug*

Well, 4.0 was last updated a few months ago, whereas 2.0 was updated a few years ago. I consider that old Tongue

It didn't work with 4.0, i had to DL/install the old ones.

They. Are. Different. Frameworks.

Of course 4.0 didnt work, the launcher doesnt USE 4.0

The different versions corrospond to (usually) what Visual Studio or whatever you are using - I just cant afford to upgrade from VS2005 - it cost me a few 1000 back in 2006 for commercial work, so Im using that till I upgrade.
