EA enables themselves to gather like all the information on the computer and process the data, possibly leading to massive privacy violation.

This selling stop is not permanent but until the company changes its ToS in such a way that it does not interfere with the law."
By now, almost 4 000 people signed this petition. If they get 50 000 in 90 days, the politicians will talk about this in the Federal Council of Germany.

We've found out that Origin's just scanning at the start of the programm, but it also begins to collect data even right before you agreed to their ToS, which is pretty much illegal in Germany. And it's still scanning, as some people on the german forums have proven. Checking Music Folders, SMS-Backups, Pictures, Skype, well, pretty much everything.

Doesn't matter that's in Germany,but if I had it,I wouldnt want that my entire PC is scanned and that this information is available to EA,and believe me,they can make lot of money with all that info.

You do know that nuclear power is cleaner and safer than most other forms of energy right? And that if we in the US replaced our reactors we would have to compensate by the increase in pollutants from conventional power by no longer driving any passenger car ever. Wind and solar power are great, as long as you don't mind frequent outages. Their best use is as supplemental power sources running next to hydro (which DESTROYS it's local environment) and nuclear.

Nuke plants actually put out less radioactive particles than coal power plants do.

Anyway, Germany is pretty much a fail country. Also, L2Keep private stuff not on your computer if you are worried about it, I doubt that Origin is the biggest snoop on most peoples systems to begin with.

So? You know that in several german federal lands (including mine) we get a high percentage of our needed energy through wind power plants? (52% in my state)
And how can something be clean that leaves rubbish which lasts over thousands of years without any idea how to recycle this shit?
