It appears quite a few people have actually bought premium from what ive seen. Nice deal for all 5(4 for me) DLCs for 50$ + all that extra stuff i don't really care about.
I might actually consider buying premium once armoured kill comes out.
But the one issue I have with premium is that it gives you the ability to reset your K/D. Thats a bit stupid to just erase your old mistakes like that.

Close quarters is just stupid anyway. It's just going to be a shotgunfest, and everyone knows how stupid the USAS 12 Explosive or M26 Dart are... At least you can't run around with snipers, well, you can with the semi auto ones...
It's going to be horrible, so not getting. The only good thing they have done yet are being able to rent servers on Xbox. 500% tickets is great. Though, will be horrible on close quarters

Hardcore is more fun when your playing with people you know and can trust that you will be able to get meds and ammo as well as being revived when appropriate, when playing alone the regening heath stops you having to only play assualt so you can get meds as most people are useless at it.
Alpha, 500% tickets is absolutely stupid CQ or not you play one map for to long and 90% of the time the whole game is just baserape so one side all get bored and leave. high ticket servers get killed quickly.
Also tanks and Jets are strong in hardcore but they dont regen health and that allows them to be much much easier to kill. have fun trying to reppair a jet mid flight.
As you said CQ will have a lot of shotguns and be much more similar to CoD but being BF3 not CoD it will still focus around rifle compat for the most part, PDW's will be used more and sniper rifles used much less frequently.
CQ looks good thankfully the mass glitch has been fixed so only the USAS is going to be complained aout but seriously, its not hard to kill as USAS frag with a rifle on the more spaced out area the maps which there are a lot of

On open space this is obviously totally stupid but on close combat urban maps (If they are existent) it's just LOL. Hardcore is more fun when your playing with people you know and can trust that you will be able to get meds and ammo as well as being revived when appropriate...
If I had some relieable teammates I would definetly buy BF3. But it's realy hard to get a relieable team, which fit to your playstyle, character and skill niveau. |

Thats easy. Make the lower receiver the bright colour. That part of the weapon should be hidden by the majority of your frame anyway.
Or get something with a bullpup design and make the magazine and stock the funky colour. No way anyone would see that in your shoulder.

If under 18 you have to have a two tone gun (half the gun a bright colour, the rest can be realistic). If over 18 and you go to a registered site twice a year with at least a 1 month gap you can become a UKARA gun club member and have a fully realalitic Airsoft gun. Though, you can't change the apperamce yourself. A registered buisness has to. You can add modifications/ utilities to it yourself. Just not paint it. Also can't take into public for obvious reasons.
I can see why the US does this with the insane amount of real guns floating around in the society, but the UK? They have pretty harsh gun control laws right? |

yeah i really only play alone if i need a little practice but it nearly always ends in me getting anoyed at my team for being awful... and without a platoon or group of frieds playing bf3 is fairly hard. problem for me is most people i play with are in the US so im playing all night sometimes and sleeping through the whole day lol |

I remember playing the Alpha of the Game, felt so much like Airsoft on metro with the sneaking through the hedges. Though, I was upset that they removed the APC from metro. But that's mainly because you could drive it into the tunnels.
Ha, I forgot there was an APC, that was so long ago, when the Beta came out I forgot all about it. and airsoft sounds awesome. I had a roomie that had bought an airsoft gun once, he called me out the room sa yin he needed my help and plastered me, only got me once but man it hurt. |
