Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Well it's roots are traced to the Great War but it's more symbolic to all conflict and sacrifice now.

Here's a fucked up story.
I live in Canada, like most of the Common Wealth we celebrate Remembrance Day(Armistice Day or whatever you call it) The USA calls it Veterans Day. Basically everyone knows what I'm talking about (On the 11th Month of the 11th Day at the 11th hour, 1918...)

So there is an elementary school in my neighbourhood that paid $2 000 to have some thing come in for 2 weeks for the kids, this service overlaps with Friday, Nov. 11th. Instead of loosing money  on 1 day of that 2 week period they have pushed Remembrance ceremonies to the Monday, Nov. 14th. How fucked up is that?! seriously fucked up priorities.

If that was my kids school, and i found out they weren't doing a proper Remembrance Day, I would notify the papers (its pretty fucked up) and i would also pull him out for the day and he can do it at home or maybe take him to City Hall for their event.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

I'm all for more days of remembrance EiRRMod.

Newfoundland recognizes 1 July as a day also(Memorial Day) for the 94% casualties they suffered on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.

So I understand the roots of ANZAC day in the Gallipoli campaign.

Remembrance must be kept alive at the heart of any society.
Good to see that some people remembered the sacrifice of so many heroes...
joining with the poppy, along with the cornflower, French equivalent created in 1916, abandonned during many years and having been reintroduced for a few years now...
