This for WW1 ?
Well it's roots are traced to the Great War but it's more symbolic to all conflict and sacrifice now.
Here's a fucked up story.
I live in Canada, like most of the Common Wealth we celebrate Remembrance Day(Armistice Day or whatever you call it) The USA calls it Veterans Day. Basically everyone knows what I'm talking about (On the 11th Month of the 11th Day at the 11th hour, 1918...)
So there is an elementary school in my neighbourhood that paid $2 000 to have some thing come in for 2 weeks for the kids, this service overlaps with Friday, Nov. 11th. Instead of loosing money on 1 day of that 2 week period they have pushed Remembrance ceremonies to the Monday, Nov. 14th. How fucked up is that?! seriously fucked up priorities.
