but I feel very shitty for him. Months of coding down the fucking tube...... It is worth it in the end, but I am sure it didn't hurt any less.

lmao right, ooh god i understand! i had a mod i coded for a year and then sometime in month 8-10 i really screwed something up that caused the game to crash...i was so pissed.

Or the time I was on a general's mod called "Battle for Middle-Eaerth" which btw was a name WE, not EA first came up with after I suggested it and it was debated for months. Then we started work on the mod, halfway finished and then got a cease and desist...yeah we were pissed.

Nah, it wasnt that much of a problem to get past it - there was still a lot of coding to make that old warmap mechanic to work.

Flanking for one was going to be a fucker (Additional 1,2 or 3 sized slots on either side of the normal territory lines, that 'flankers' could set up on - like snipers or scout cars - and attack anything on that line.)

So, I didnt lose much sleep - but I *DID* have to think of a way to make it work similar to what tank130 & Leo suggested, while still keeping in the warmap cards mechanic (enough variance to allow special warmap cards to work) - and I think I have.

Oh, that dig is actually at me (Tanks dig) - I always try to be diplomatic in everything, and well, *I* think it works, but like tank130 points out - sometimes you gotta use the stick and not just the damn carrot.

open the following ports on your router:

The only one out of those that you explicitly need to open is 6112. That's the only one I've had to do and I've had no problems over the past couple of years that I have.

Maybe you didn't open it correctly? you have to open it for the correct ip adress etc.
