so whats bad if doc buffs him? I also see inf doc buffing US officer. If you want for lt and capt to buff more,take it to the devs,they design doctrines,not me...

Doctrine buffs wher officer too much, its just way too much of a increase when you do dual T3s.

but only when you take middle T3 with something,because,buffing only 1 unit isnt all that OP.

Perhaps with mid T3 when officer is not supervising a single unit, he gives out half of normal. Then when he is supervising he looses that passive buff but gives out the real deal.

The closest thing i can find that jackmcrack mentions is the mando LT buffs. It isnt quite on the same lvl and the buffs given are nowhere near as champ as where officer

top T3
heroic charge gained
Vet 1 heroic charge -120 sec
(useful if you are infantry focused)

middle t3
officers sprint in enemy territory (cool he now charges infront of everyone to get trolled by whatever.)
No heroic charge exhaustion
(cool again really inf focused)

bottom t3
Lt gains mark target
+5m aura for heroic charge
+5sec heroic charge is active.

Ok all of this is great for infantry but top t3 and bottom t3 provide the best bonuses. however it doesnt effect the buffs given to the units. just modifies how long or how quickly they are available. oh and in the tool tip it says LT but im pretty sure they only apply to the mando LT so yes its an unlock at T2 just like the wehr officer.

"But contaminator heroic charge is so good and all of these effect your heroic charge!!!! QQ"
Ok well when wehr supervises there is no 15 sec or whatever timer for the buffs that he applies like there is on heroic charge (and no exhaustion after *all right all right the mid t3 gets rid of that*)

with No buffs and no vet I feel they are both rather even though wehr is more often then not going to have squads that do better because of officer. With buffs it still seems that wehr comes out on top... particularly with the ability to supervise Inf and Tanks with one unit (especially with mid and top t3 oh god that would be scary combo inf and tank passive supervised charge... going to have to try this now)

when you say inf focused,it's quite logicall that you want inf if you call him,cuz in the end he's job is to buff inf. not tanks or other shit.

well,heroic charge is more than good,it's a fire up,so you can escape mg42 which everyone is afraid of. Or charge it and kill it fast.

if he gains charge,that doesnt mean that you want him to sprint first infront of everyone,you can more easily retreat to your lines if circumstances make you.

should have been more specific. What I mean is there are no kind of passive increase of buffs given by officer... wehr does recieve that... and wehr can supervise arty/atg directly improving weapon performance. Lt. Cap. or CCT dont buff weapon performance... thats kinda the point im gettin at I guess... not trying to devalue heroic charge because it is great! but looking at balance officer units to officer unit its not really even imo

btw, def officer can directly supervise a support weapon. I've used it in my def company for a long time.

now i dont know if it can do it passively, but i'm quite positive that if you directly supervise the gun itself it works because I supervised an mg42 once and from med-long range it didn't suppress but it killed. went vet 1 after taking out 2-3 squads.

its also really good with vehicles, the extra acc & dmg can really rape.

as someone who plays with all officer types, i can without bias say that the defensive officer is the strongest of any of the officers.

It has the highest health, gives out the largest dps buff and with the mortar off map at only 70mu and with how good it is at taking out infantry not only in the open but in buildigs is quite good.

i notice no one mentions the american officer lol i guess we all agree it's crap at giving out buffs, but it is good at killing with the smg, which btw is a what, t2 unlock if i remember? and the officer is a t1.

I think the American Officer should gain a few decent buffs not tied specifically to Operation Overlord, it really couldn't hurt, especially considering you could lose half the effectiveness of the officer at any given time from a sniper or a tank shot. The Defensive Officer doesn't need to worry about such things with it's insane survivability.

 the only questionable thing of the wehr officer is the aura accuracy buff affecting schrecks and turning them into homing missles thats it

but this comparison wehr officer lt is still Mumpitz

oh and in general aura buffs (doesnt matter of us, wehr, brit officers/tanks) are imho shit because they force/lead the player into blobbing

I had a game where supervised single shreck squad took out a full health ATG. Then took out another one. Wasn't funny brah.

So every CW doctrine should have something that buffs the LT and Capt.

Mirror balance ftw. I have a idea. Lets remove Lt and Capt because the British infantry is strong enough without them and make Lt and Captain as a Doctrine unlock to a certain Doctrine tree (captain to RCA Mando Lt for Commandos, Lt for RE) and THEN give Doctrine unlocks that buff the said units.

No, no, no, you've got it all wrong.

RCA = Captain
RE = CCT
Cmdo = Lt

And British infantry is not strong enough until they can solo KCH tbh.

That is like saying "Volksgrenadiers are shit because they can not beat commando stens they aren't strong enough". Same thing basically.

But the list you put up- it was good. I agree on it.

i say this, change mid T3 for defensive, and give officer buffs to all cw docs, or buff them slightly out of the box.

i personally dont like the fact that they get better buffs with vet, it's like sticky bombs for me, just make them better so you don't have to baby your vetted officer. also US officer survives tank shots (since it's two people) i say make it so full health cw officers always survive a tank shot, that way they can actually be useful. give them a price increase as well. i think many people would pay a little extra to have their cw officers not die like rifles.

I actually like more idea about making lt,cct and capt doc unlock to certain doctrines,then you can compare them with officer and buff them accordingly so they are  about equal Wink
