You're thinking of allies who're trying to win by outsmarting or outsupporting their opponent's units. What about all the allies just smash into your lines and have no qualms losing expendables to take out a good combined force?

from this i feel like you are trying to say that all you will have on the field is a Nash and MG... if you do than ur boned anyway so game over. But in reality you and other teammates will have out other units that can come support a push.

No, the point is that it is NOT good at AT, nor is it good at range considering a Mortar does the same for less and is indirect if you just want it to pop ATGs.
A unit that is dedicated to a role, in this case semi mobile heavy AT, should excel at that role. This unit does not. Why bring something that doesn't do the job as well as your other options, costs more, uses up RP AND is slow and vulnerable?

thing is,you will loose it,cuz it's quite vunerable,slow as fuck,so if someone wants to hunt it,it's gg...2 m10's flanking it will kill it before you can save him,even if you have something like pak covering it.

. Well i have had all sorts of vehicles take some INTENSE damage from from Nashs... but whatever I was trying to provide a different approach to how to use Nashs effectively... obviously the axis community is not open to taking advice.

yea well if some one is trying to take out a unit 9 times out of ten if they commit the right units victory will be achieved. thats like saying "gosh i dont understand why two quads were so effective against my infantry blob!"
suggestion: the nash IS ON TRACKS (this means it is supposed to move) so maybe set it up take a few shots then move it... its not a plop down and herp derp with it like an 88 does.
just a suggestion take it or leave it

Which would be fine, if it reliable dealt damage to Medium and Heavy tanks.
It does not.
Also, unless you are using it to kill ATGs the range means shit, since a Panther outranges most things anyway and does similar damage with a lot more protection, AI ability and speed.
I'm not asking for dual use, I just want a badass TD.

To say it outloud. It costs more pool than a 88, it also performs way shittier than a 88. In summary= Nashorn is a useless Reward unit. If Devs wanted to make it a RARE unit. They succeeded in it. None wants to use it as its so shit.

I was not trying to say that gwagons couldnt shoot atgs, but that the Nashorn can shoot them without them retaliating.

Except to use 100 range your thing must be immobile aka Lockdown. Either how, it still doesn't perform at the same level as a 88. No splash, bad accuracy, bad damage and penetration etc.
Same thing Just because Priest is mobile it shouldn't cost 3x more than a 25Pdr as they share the same role.

I understand this Tank, and I would be happy with an 88 that has lockdown to get the range bonus on tracks that can't hit infantry....unfortunately, it does not fulfill this role.
It does fulfill the role of sucking though. I would be HAPPY if it was massively good at AT, and cost an appropriate amount. It would also be nice if it got fucking doctrine buffs like HEAT/Second Repair....you know, or ANYTHING.

I'm wondering if this benefits from ANY doctrine abilities. I stupidly got one and was hoping that HEAT rounds affected it, only thing that seems useful is maybe fire while repairing? Or does it get accuracy from bottom blitz T3?
