I would rather have .25/1/3 than .5/1/1.5. Even though the full damage radius of the splash is doubled in the latter, that's already such a tiny little radius that it's not really going to hit any extra infantry unless they're all bunched up in one spot.
Some people like Grenadiers, some people like Volks. Personally, I'm a guy that likes concentration over distribution. Distribution allows pot shots at range to be more effective where enemy squads are more likely to be spread out. Concentration allows you to get in close, use herding tactics, and gib half a squad that you've clumped together by pushing them around.
Oh, and in relation to the IST talk, they also tend to get fewer kills due to their psychological effect too. People see a Sherman and think where did I leave my AT? People see an IST approaching their inf and think OH SHI-. They'll be much more inclined to stay the hell away from the IST knowing what it can do when it opens fire.

double lmg upgrade, no, single? sure why not but tbh...i dont think the m1919 lmg is any better than the .50 cal on a sherman anyway so why would you want to replace it?

Wrong, KT should have full in HMG42's for the Turret and Hull gun.

And flank speed that gives it scout car overdrive speed. That way we can also give a doctrine buff to make it passive in enemy territory.

Then take the sherman crap flail but put it on front back and sides. Then make a doctrine upgrade called "titanium tips" and they flail is then able to butt hump vehicles and puncture through armour and does extra damage vs. all heavy Tanks.

Went into Cheatmod to try this out; no its not exact.
Spawned a brit trench, threw 2 one-man-riflemen medic squads with an LMG42 each into it, spawned a sherman, upgraded a .50cal on it and drove it right on top of the trench so all the weapon hardpoints would be at roughly the same distance from anything they were shooting at. Its nowhere near a quad.
It really is dissapointing to see everyone pointing and laughing about how retarded the idea is, when nobody has(d) a damn clue how truly good or bad this would be in the field. Once one of you goons decides its not worth discussing seriously, the idea is as good as bupkis when everyone considers it royally OP.
Myst, you of all people should know that this is far from strapping a quad on a sherman. I mean christ, it doesnt have 45 range (cheif advantage of the quad) and it wont LOLSUPPRESS whatever it shoots at. Anyone one of you can go try the above scenario in cheatmod vs. the Normal AI (turned off, ofc) and you'd see how far from glaringly OP this is. Christ.
