wtf did i just read???

In vCoH, if a player garrisons a neutral HQ building that wasn't yet assigned to that player, itll fall under their control and grant them an additional ~270 manpower income as well as being the new point to which infantry units retreat to when ordered to do so. So basically you get 2 HQs, twice the normal manpower income (and an extra +5 fuel) etc. Nasty shit.

Read the part where I said to try and make it so that WOULDNT happen. Garrison the 88? Yeah, why not, IN A NON PVP/EIR FORMAT. A CODED MISSION VS THE AI.

Are the TT's crushable? If not, the few paths thru them will be just too ez to mine with multiple engis/pios in halftracks...

all tank traps ( dragon teeth) r crushable but i don't think u can place mine between them coz of the amount of free space between them.

If the DT were buildings on an urban map you would have the same situation, so I don't really think that's a problem.

Cheap mines sweeper, mortar fire, vehicle fire would be an easy solution. At least in this case you know exactly where the mines are going to be.

If I remember right, the teeth you place in WB are uncrushable.

Also, who would ever play this map?

if you really want a map with a huge uncrushable tank trap wall at least place it not directly in the center then.

put it closer to allied spawn and have it be an allies attack only map for example, for events.

nonono, that would destroy the super duper epic awesome atmosphere of the map

we can try the as it is first then if this don't work we can always change it  Wink

anyway if one of the team decide to camp on the other  side doesn't matter which they will lose automatically on sector wise

Perhaps this map is a piece of shit and unplayable or perhaps it is the next great map......

but I still don't understand why people are jumping on the band wagon and say the TT are a problem.

If I look at Neuville (popular map I might add), it has fewer openings then this map. The Siegfried line has 8 lines through it.
If I remember correctly, Neuville has 6-7. One of those only works if you have something to crush the wall on the right. I could be wrong on the numbers, but it has to be really damn close in comparison.

Neuville has building to hide behind - SL has some large hedge rows.
If you destroy the building in Neuville, you still have to path around them. If you destroy the TT's in SL, they are gone.

So I guess my question is: What really is the problem with these tank traps and their location?

The problem is that the Tank Traps are indestructable. Doesn't matter if you drive a KT up to them, they go all Gandalf on your ass.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.
