It happend only a few times to me and the pop for the ATG still counts but i have the guys and do whatever i want with them.
(But you're right it's happen very rarely)

For example: Ghost Tank traps are a 100% explot for me.


And what's with the one short Artellery without cooldown?
When you fire one round with a mortar and press "Hold fire" the wapeon get the cooldown and it takes a while after you can fire the next round/barrage. There are some artellery pieces which did not get this cooldown.(So it's possible to fire one shell repeatedly)

Mortar:
I select a target and fire one shell of the barrage. When I'm now select  "Stop Fire" the Wapoen get's it's normal Cooldown Modifier and it takes
a while before i can select a new target to fire my next barrage on it.

"Artillery-Piece Exploit":
I select a target and fire a single shell. Now I had to press "Stop Fire". In this case i get not the Cooldown Modifier, I need not to wait and can instantly choose a new target and fire a the next rounds on it. When repeat this "Stop Fire" process i can shot a single round and able to repeat this process
all the time. So it's possible to fire one shell on a single target over and over again.
(Have seen this in one X-Fire Livecast but i can't remember which unit it was)


I have some other questions about support wapoens.   Cheesy
Let's say I have a Rifle Squad and I order it to recrew a ATG. Now i have 3 Guys at the ATG and the other 3 Guys from the orignal Rifle Squad or
in other words I have two seperet units now.

a) The 3 remaining guys from the Rifle Squad get Squished by an accident, but the other three members from the ATG retreated succesful -
Have I lost my Rifle Squad in the launcher or not?
b) The guys which recrewed the ATG where lucky and killed a Vehicle. After the battle I retreat both. (The half Rifle Squad and the one which
recrewed the ATG) -
Has the Rifle Squad gained the experience from the Vehicle kill or not?

I think you lose the rifle squad, but not 100% sure.

But I know for a fact that the decree squad doesn't keep the XP

I don't think it is considered an exploit since 1: you're just using an intended game mechanic, for example if a unit is hiding behind a house and you use attack ground with your tank for a chance to hit it with splash damage, that's not an exploit, same thing goes with other obstacles and 2: there is a chance that you will hit, but it's far from 100%.

I think were talking two different things.

Firing through a forest that due to improper mapping should be a shot blocker. And firing through a house that has no walls and thus shells go through.

Its the first that i have issue with as firing through forests is not an intended game mechanic.


And you lose the rifle squad i am 100% sure.

It's not an exploit to ground attack anywhere, if the round goes through the forest you should probably not be parked on the other side of it. People need to learn to add shot blockers to their maps.

Well, can't we make it so "leave weapon" makes them only do that, and they still take 2-3 pop so they can recrew another gun? You can always retreat them manually after they leave the weapon.

Firing through an object is not considered an exploit. Shitty, spineless, borderline unethical...... but not officially an exploit.

On the grounds that anybody can do it I invoke this age old quote:

Learn how to do it fella, it's pretty rewarding when it pays off.

In fact, CoH would be a very funky place if scatter was reduced and nothing could roll hits.

why on earth would you change to make that not an exploit now?  The entire history of EIR that I've known from before EIRR its been considered an exploit...now leaving busted weapon crews isnt?  also you realize that if they are cloaked when they die they stay cloaked...so basically an invisible 1 man spotter...total bullshit.
