For the record, acker, I'm not claiming that video games are not art. I'm claiming that these interactive movies are not video games. They should be classified in their own type of media is all I'm saying.
"vid·e·o game
Noun:
A game played by electronically manipulating images produced by a computer program on a television screen or display."
It is not
"vid·e·o game
something similar to Call of Duty"

Because EVERYTHING he writes is verbose and most is also arrogant on top of that
?
Oh c'mon...... you must surely have enough thick skin by now to not let it cloud your good judgement.
Perhaps that's his intention, and you are picking the bait like an idiot?

Just sayin' that's the reason he attracts so much spite. I saw lots of vermillion hatin' before I joined in...

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

First, on topic. And Wall of Text:
So Yeah.
Really nice review or explanation of the mod acker! I will be trying it once again for sure!
As for vermillion... The thing is. Why even bother to start a discussion on a game which you have not even tried or read about?
And your choice of words are so.... unnecessary on this forum.
If you act like that in real life i bet you dont have many friends or simply lack of social skills. Unless youre living in a society with the same type of people which i doubt.
Besides, this is a gaming forum and your iq does not mean much here. And with your intellect im suprised that you dont get that by now. How many threads have people complained about this?
Why do you have this need of being confirmed as better and smarter then the rest of us? And in this thread you really show that you think your opinion matter more and then ours.
Its arrogant and stupid. But I bet it has to do with your real life and after a harsh day in the lab you need to sit down with the apes on the internet so you can feel good about yourself once again.
Vermillion walks in to a zombie thread. Posts nothing that has to do with or is even related to zombies.....
Vermillion walks away
I contributed to that thread!
(yes, I guess you can say this was a personal attack on him)
That being said, lets try and get this thread back on track. Maybe we should clean it up aswell.

If you truly wanted a clean thread you'd remove everything but the last line of your post. Haven't we had a lengthy discussion on this matter before, Dnicee? I recall the outcome not being in your favour.
I did in fact contribute to this thread, at first, but when my opinion was challenged, I simply defended it. If you're looking for people to blame for taking a thread off-track, the other constituents of the debate are as guilty as I.
As a last word to Spartan, surely you aren't foolish enough to believe that the definition of video game comprises solely that narrow one supplied by the dictionary as opposed to the various intrinsic social connotations it actually possesses?

No, you are the foolish one to believe a video game should have anything more then that broad all encompassing one that is supplied. Placing limitations on what is or isn't a video game is pure and utter nonsense, and stems purely from a mind terrified at new ideas.

Im pretty sold on dead linger tbh. Just hope they can deliver. It would be awesome to put together a eir survivor group in a zombie game.
Me wanting a clean thread is not up to me. It was smuchtz in it long before i posted my thoughts about your involvement in this thread.

I never said that it wasn't classified as a video game as of now, I was simply of the opinion that it shouldn't be. To claim that my wanting of a separate classification for these types of media is hardly indicative that I'm "terrified of new ideas".

I agree, the TV-show is great. Vermillion hates the zombie genre, there is no reasoning with him.

Great series ground, its a pity Resident Evil is becoming less horror and more action.

Yeah. As far as im concerned, ever RE from the original 3 should have gotten a remake like the first. They just needed to make it more open world, re-occurring threats that are hard to beat and jump at you from every angle.
RE4 was ok, but their reinvention ruined it for me.
No I dont want to buy my new gun from your trench coat with the endless amount of money I find laying all over the place. When I saw this guy, I was no longer interested.

The remake of RE1 is hands down the best RE they've made. RE2 is a close contender though tbh, but loses points for not being as difficult.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

No difficulty setting kinda sucked. Im a masochist. Always play the remake on mountain climbing as chris with 6 inventory slots and a knife.
RE2 still gets me tho with it's 2nd scenario. It's practically 4 games in one with that, I still have fun with the 2nd scenarios.
I was kinda excited for ORC but it doesnt look like its too good. :/

I much prefer playing games on the hardest difficulty/one below it on my first run through now. Just breezing through a game feels empty, like I've done nothing to earn the reward of victory at the end. I need the challenge. >.<
Had a pretty funny moment on the RE1 remake as Chris. Was playing through it on the hardest difficulty I could get my hands on and without using any form of guides. Got to the enhanced crimson head in the graveyard... To engage him with 4 rounds of pistol, 1 shotgun shell, and my knife. I had 4 mixed herbs on me as well but I used up the lot of them.
I very nearly got the bugger. However, I had to restart the entire game and be MUCH more cautious - and do a lot more running rather than shooting. I even named one zombie because I was running straight past him that often...
