no i came to ask if other people thought they were OP... and yes i did find a way to exploit there best values. but honestly i feel being able to field 6 of them without any fuel advantages is a little much.

Oh, so you can get 6 now instead of 5...

.. There's an entire doctrine basically dedicated to making Cromwells better. Barely anything makes Shermans better, except Armour doctrine, but even then, the opportunity cost is ridiculously high if you just wanna run Shermans.

When you can have 6 croms with 25% more dmg and acc (from memory) from doctrine buffs + vet2 cct bonuses, tell me how that isn't OP!

Oh yeah, forgot to add, Cromwells have an instant escape/runover button as well!

i will tell you why it isnt OP. the cromwell doesnt have great moving accuracy like the Sherman. and you can have instant escape run over button as well if you get mobile warfare. and armor is complete rubbish BTW. you will with never in your life without flank speed even begin to fight of a p4.

Aero did you bother to look at the stats before you posted?  As far as I can tell, moving accuracy between the Sherman, Cromwell is the same save a higher cooldown multiplier for Croms.  Scatter is the same as is general gun accuracy.  Crom is slightly less accurate against Axis infantry armor types.  However with the 25% accuracy doctrine bonus it tops Sherman accuracy even while moving vs pretty much everything.  That isn't even including the bonuses you get from a CC.

Their saving grace is their speed and dodge modifier.

For the record, the Cromwell doesn't have a dodge modifier in the statistical sense, but rather you can physically dodge shit and get out of harms way by using the unit's speed. Pak cant hit you if you move too fast for it's gun tracking to keep up with you.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

CCT wont help you for accuracy. The only thing the CCT provides is reload, sight and range.

I know but with the doctrine bonus already gives it better accuracy with than a Sherman. CCT just makes the tank even more epic.

Hicks the Cromwell gets a -0.2 recieved accuracy modifier versus a lot of axis weapons. If the typical accuracy modifier versus tanks is 1, it has 0.8

Relic explains this by stating it's due to the cromwells low profile.

Ugh, looked like tiredness got the better of me on that one, your right. Just checked it over, from what I can tell most mainline Axis weaponry has 0.8 acc against the Cromwell.
