Well lets wait till the man on top tells us about individual company progression, if any. and avoid flame baiting till we get that answer aight ampm Smiley
Well, I kinda did, its called Commander rank, and its related to how much youve done (or, how well) on the warmap.

The progression will give bonuses to warmap things (like, sector resource bonuses boosts, or action type boosts) and also expand into other areas - which, Im not quite sure how much it should effect actual companies.
We'll see, but as has been mentioned, if this side-grind is minimal, or inconsequential, then theres no point having it.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

In my opinion I think we're totally petted with overbuffed units, unit selection and doctrine and corressponding unlocks. (Some of doctrines are definetly better then other, but overall compared to other mods and vCoH it's a shitload of abilities)

Espacially when the Warmap cards gets released/implemented (When will they be released..  ?  Smiley) there will be much more stuff on our battlefield.
Sometimes I feel like I go to the market and can't decide what I should buy because I have such a wide selection that I'm overextended with
just picking one.

Now we have a early game in a vCoH style. BAR's are usefull for armour player because there are not scoped STG44's, M8's useful because there are no
PAK40's or Volksgrenadiere with "unlimited" Panzerfausts, even scout cars and HT's are effective because there are less bazookas on the field. (At least all armour players have none of them).
Some stuff is still deadly, but I had to say that I like these kind of early game but we will surely see a metagame shift with the warmap progresses and
the leveling companies until nearly everything is the same as it was without the warmap.

Luckily there are the random game modes which will fuck up some special company builds and will bring some variety with it.

I'm pretty much in love with the early game style gameplay.

No fucking doom forts of destiny, no ridiculous doctrines.

Too many people getting cushy with their powerful doctrines holding them up and now calling unfair that they've gotta put some effort in.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

No it's not about having t4 Hicks.

When you play and earn pp you feel that your company is progressing.  But when it is 100% faction based it feels like it is standing still.

It's like Unknown said in on 1st page.

The old eir system was perfect and imo should be re-introduced.,  earn points for every game but have daily limit and earn faction points if you don't play.

Yup...... the people who lack the skill to play with out uber buffs and gimmicks are feeling the pressure. SHOCK - you need to play with real skillz now.......

The early war feel is awesome and exactly what we needed. Too many cry babies are used to having everything at once instead of it being awesome bonuses that come over time.

I think some people need a big helping of L2P.

BTW - Hint to PE players: Armored car just fucking rapes early war.

Ok tank, delete all doctrines and advantages because they only add to gimmicks and opness, delete PE and Brits also and leave  only us and wehr pre OF, then we will have game of REAL ELITE MAD SKILLZ.
I'm sure you'd love that.

That's not what I said, the old system was pretty terrible. I did foresee these complaints in regards to the new system, hence why I have proposed a side PP grind for individual players to go along with this change. I do believe EIRRmod should seriously consider it, on top of the planned commander rank system. (The 'advantage' players will get is minimal while the perceived benefit is big enough to keep them 'grinding')

It's not my decision to make however, I can only advocate and suggest it, though my case for a side PP grind is only strenghtened by the (hardcore) community's current sentiment

Old system was great. Helped new players while still allowing you to gain doctrines at your own pace. I basically lost interest in playing again after I found out I can't actually level up by my own games so I'm just going to wait a few weeks until I can play with my doctrines

The current one is same as the old one except one point,  you don't earn pp after a game. I don't possibly see how you can call the old one 'terrible' and say that this is ok  when it's basicaly the same thing  Roll Eyes

can i put my opinion in?

I like how you dont gain PPs

Because most of you hate it.

Doesnt bother me, ill still play in the early game war where it just takes skill to defeat your enemy. Where the true pro's of eirr reign supreme , where so called *good* players cower in fear, and new players smell the scent of death on the true pro and vanish.

... can you believe a new player with 0 games dodged me -.-

its not that,Its 'the players who stack the game all the time and is one sided who don't play against eachother but together to stomp noobs which is not fun playing at all if u have skill or not, i lack myself with mico so i am not crying about losing but it is not fun playing anymore.

Current PP system:

1 Don't play a single game

2 Join side with biggest PP

3 Buy doctrines

4 Own side with lowest PP

5 enjoy the lulz

Current Eirr Community:

1 Players who play the game and get better

2 Players who whine and cry that everything is not handed to them on a silver spoon

3 Devs ignore Players in number 2

4 Players in number 1 kick the asses of players in number 2

5 Players in number 2 go away

6 Profit
