As of now Axis barely control over half the map and the allies are feeling the pinch in a dramatic loss of available resources. My inf and AB docs are like -500mu with just one Mu point available (adjusting my inf companies works but AB no way does that work). Any future plans on reducing the resources territory give or maybe side incentives in winning territory other than totally fucking over the opposing team into oblivion? I imagine there will be no point playing when allies only have 1/3 territory and axis have about twice the MP,MU, and FU(or vice versa). And all i can do is make a rifle spam.

I know WM is being worked on and I may just pointing something out that maybe the obvious.

Also side note since my AB is sucking and totally worthless with just one MU point it made me notice how non adaptive AB is to resouces and how narrow their use is. They have to either use a ton of MU or go the cheap route with AW. Then that made me really notice how costly RRs are. And RRs arent even that good unless you got them in several squads. 2 or 3 RRs in your company and thats it. No more MU really to play around with.  I know if MU is sucking "avoid AB doc". But is that a option that the game should have?

And on a sidenote...

Remembers those few fools who thought warmap was GG in favor of allies not too long ago?

Look at them now.

The war is over

I'm calling this warmap round GG in favour of the allies. Well played.

Maybe we'll (axis) be able to put up a better fight next war.

oops, guess that comment was made of fail.....lol

At any rate the war may still swing around again, with effort from the allies. Unless comeback somehow is impossible for allies, and was only possible for axis. Not very likely?

Initially I felt it was important to maintain the "bleed" from losing territories to make advances more significant, but we may have overlooked the impact on motivation to play if you have 1 munitions advantage as allies facing 5 as axis.

I can see how casual players who have preferred builds on the allied side will harshly dislike having less munitions, as going support spam for allies feels way less natural than it feels for allies. Support spam is the "I stay competetive with less munitions route" in EIRR. Axis can just support spam with 1 munitions advantage, and be happy. Less so for armor companies with dual repair, RR airborne or upgraded infantry doctrine..

You have to keep in mind that you never actually lose your starting Munitions. being -500Mu isn't that you lost 500 munitions from your company. It's just that you no longer hold that advantage over your enemy. Put your company in a munitions sector and you'll get a sizeable boost to your Munitions again.

The way the sectors are organized means that you can't sit in a muni sector and help the allies push the axis back. There's manpower and fuel sectors though, but some doctrines (AB being one) rely on munis more than others so it hits them harder.

My advice would be to make another less munitions intensive company using a different less munitions intensive doctrine and use it to push the axis. No way in hell I'm using my AB... so I'll use my inf. When the allies have Metz or Belgium back, then maybe I can use my AB again.

Skaffa's Blitz is pretty stupidly Muni intensive and he managed to leave a Muni sector by constantly trying to take a muni sector.

The resources are fine, quit qq that you cannt fit in your obscene amounts of muni units you used to be able to, how do you think the axis felt at the start of the war, always on the backfoot, always logging in with minuses in my resource pool, did you see any threads about the axis crying about recources? No

We sucked it the fuck up, built our companies as we could, and look what happend, now we have the edge, and right away allies cry wolf.

I'm thinking the axis didn't really feel the resource sink quite so much as the allies for one main reason.

They weren't as drained as the allies are right now.

At the very worst part of the war for the axis they were down to these advantages:

2/7 Manpower (largely 3/7 since it was very rare for BOTH Koein and Munich to be taken at the same time).
2/6 Munitions (mostly 3/6 since Bremen only fell for about what.. an hour?)
2/6 Fuel

On top of being able to base their operations from any resource sector that they wanted, while still remaining useful on the warmap. Allies can't be useful on the warmap while getting extra muni right now, for instance).

In contrast, the allies are down to :

3/7 Manpower
1/6 Munitions
2/6 fuel.

Now you can begin nonsense on how it's the same number of sectors - but remember. Manpower boosts are utter and complete crap.

That is all.

I would not say that skaffa is the reason why the allied get pushed back to their spawn but there are some other guys who are always playing in the same conception and like it to play with new guys.
The Axis have some hardliners which are always playing as Axis (Some really good players) and the rest of the good player tempt to switch the side in the hope to get a game that the Allied have no solid player base.

Additionally the company build getting more and more retarded and overall it tempts to end in a messy spam game.
Flamer goliath spam, Sturmtruppen spam, Panther spam, PIV/StuG spam, Support spam... it's really hard to counter some of this. (Espacially when there two or even three spams are "combined") - And don't call it "l2p" this happen to a lot of really though allied teams.

I don't know what's happen but the metagame tempts shifts into retarded mode. Haven't think that I would say this but in the last few days it was quite lame to play EIR:R.
