So, I have been playing around with the double LMG upgrades for Grens for Defensive doc lately, and I have come to the conclusion that they are really not worth the munitions at all and are for the most part, useless.
No matter how I use them (park them in green cover, put them in a house) they don't seem to do much damage to inf and seem to get easily outclassed. Only way to do any damage is against charging unupgraded rilfes,and even then why sink 135 munis into something which a Gren squad can do already?
I think a small buff to this upgrade could really be of use to the Gren LMG's and make them actually more useful again.

Where is Hicks with the double dps of lmgs
What i would suggest is lower the suppresion value of the second lmg, because double lmgs suppresses infantry quite easily.. lowing the damage onto the squad instantly

If you unlock the LMGs for the Airbornes there not so overpowered.
The conclusion of this is that two on one squad could be the critical mass for being awesome OR the buffs applied from the Infantry Doctrine
makes it overpowered OR a combination of the last two points..
