The Warmap was a bigger priority then the Warmap cards. I donated over 2K to get it done faster and that took almost 2 years.

So with that in mind, Eirrmod delivering the warmap cards in less then two years is considered faster via donations.

The reason why this is different is because Breast cancer could and perhaps is a Non Profit organization? just a thought, When it says all donations go to research and or fighting breast cancer.

This mod is a non profit organization. It has to be in order to comply with copy right rules and the rules laid out by Relic.

All donations to this mod go to keeping it running. ie. servers etc. No one profits from this mod. If we were allowed to profit, we would be charging your ass to be here. The we would use that money to pay employees to work and meet deadlines.

Just because you think you've paid for a service does not give us reason to disclose any sort of personal/private life information.

Even if EiRRMod had told us what he's got we wouldn't be sharing that with the community without his consent.


Even in the event he's not totally disabled from sickness the man has a job and a child he has to worry about. There is not a way in hell that I'd prefer he finished some cards at the expense of his daughters suffering.

At the end of the day, what it comes down to is that EiRR is an entirely volunteer organization. You cannot get more out of people then they can put in. The time they do commit is at their discretion and subject to the needs of their own life.


If you want, there is a really funny OMG archived post about how the guy lost his car and his computer and they were asking the community for money for a computer. Meanwhile he's got like 4 kids to take car of.


Ahh, here it is.

We haven't successfully diagnosed the problem yet so a parts list isn't possible.  He found a repair shop that would charge him $45 do diagnose and $95 to repair (plus hardware) so that's what we're trying to raise money for.

Seems like it's a microprocessor issue because all of the diagnostics that we've done have given random parts failures from gfx card issues to memory module issues.

We reset the CMOS to no avail as well.

In the last week Draygon has had his laptop crash, his desktop die, and has lost his car.  The man is having a rough time, like I said.  All of his money goes to caring for four children as a single parent which is why he needs the help of the community.

Believe me when I say that he feels like a complete douche having to ask for handouts but it's a last resort kind of thing.  He's anxious to get back up and running so that he can continue to work on the mod.

See that last part in the bold? Thats exactly what we don't want. Thats a bad parent. I'm sure the man in question put his mod aside to look after his family. Which is exactly what I'd expect. Anything less is appalling.

I have been sick for LONGER than two weeks, in fact, I should have gone to the doctors a week after the warmap release because I had a 'chest cough'.

Well it complicated.  I first got a chest infection - which I could still work through, got a little done.
Then, it got a lot worse.  I ended up getting acute pneuomnia.

For those who dont know, this can fucking KILL you.  Coughing up blood, kinda killed the warmap cards as being a priority.  Bear in mind, that I got to the screenshot (and a bit further) WHILST COUGHING UP BLOOD.

So, to you fuckers who expect me to work whilst on deaths door.  Go FUCK YOURSELF WITH A SHIV.

For those who are understanding, thanks, I apologise, I probably should have gone to the doctor (and consequently dragged to A&E by my mates) earlier.

When the warmap cards are released (Im beginning work on them again today, Im feeling up to it) - ALL people who have donated will gain something.  I'll just have to get a list up.

Usually antibiotics can solve this problem of course if anyone knew they had it to begin with, anti inflammatory can work as well but for the most part  if its not gone in 3-6 days its off to the hospital. After pneumonia sometimes lung excersises are necessary for one may have received damage to the lung and sometimes cannot be repaired.

I was lucky to only have an acute-mild bout of it, I could not imagine a chronic version.
My doctor said that it may have progressed to that if I wasnt already taking anti-biotics before the infection set in (for another unrelated issue).

Its mostly gone, I have a lot of phlegm still, but I am well, can breathe good and have high amounts of energy (comparitively lol).  So yeah.
