Yeah it's a nice game. You start playing and if you don't stop when a match ends you won;t have a chance until the next match end because it's so gripping.
Love the Aliens. Stalking Marines is so much fun.

Played a match with skaffa and other pubs. I was commanding for marines.
Start of the match went okay,
then we got killed down to 1 exo and me in the commander seat. Power down, i need to get out and get power back up for people to spawn.
We have 1 base left, in the center of the map surrounded by aliens.
Once everyone is respawned I ordered everyone to just charge their main base like idiots. we didn't even have upgrades. It still worked, the aliens lost all their upgrades. that together with some epic strats and rly good teamwork from the marine players we won.
THIS GAME IS AMAZING. from now on I'm recording when playing as commander, that was the best match i played on a pc game for a long time.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I play commander as both aliens and marines. Its pretty easy all of the time as most commanders arent as skilled as i am in quick RTS strategies focusing on qucik booming resource expansion. particularly easy as Aliens when throwing down cysts following up with every peice of alien territory shaded and healing, With a later push of teleporting Whips to the front lines, once you have 5 resource nods. easily achievable at the current level of novice opposing commanders.

I've done the Marine commander a few times to great success. But honestly I help my team more being a foot slogger. I usually have the highest Kills(and best KDR) on the team and I usually make the most headway. Marines or Aliens, I'll kill you.

I love commanding as both aliens and marines, it's so much fun, but yea aliens is definitely a lot more relaxed. I wish the game had a little more depth to it on the RTs side of things though, right now it just feels like there aren't many viable alternatives to the usual 2nd hive or shift hive start for aliens. (Marines offer a little more variety, though sentries are pretty fail once aliens get bilebomb and phase gate is usually a must have)

There's a few options in the rush department for both sides. I think Marines do the rush better as eggs are easy pickings. Beyond those decisive moments the alien commander fast onos egg is so insanely strong
