lol saw airsoft rpg.. man that shit rocks u have a battery in your bag.. well its forbiden shit but 1 ma friend has it so for fun we were shooting lead balls and it actually can go through a wooden wall lol i just imagine wut it could do to human body. and frozen paintball balls < airsoft

I had a former Co-Worker who was really into Airsoft.

He claimed he hit a guy with an RPG(pellet filled bag) from point blank range(No primary weapon) while doing a match and that he was suspended from the group because he broke the guys ribs.

I don't put much stock in it, he was a compulsive liar.

However though; Simunition. I've seen that shit draw blood on most occasions. I love that shit. It really makes you not want to get shot. Ever.

So I have this local guy that has contacted me in regards to investing in an Airsoft game/company. Basically speaking, our area only has one place to play, so he wants to set up a new one.

Problem: I have no idea exactly what this game is or what it entails. More importantly, I need to know if this is actually popular. I assume it is mostly a young persons game, so I thought I would get your guys input on it.

Is this a newest up and coming thing that has potential, or is just a fad that will die a year from now. Is this just another way of saying paintball?

If you can buy the land and divide the rest 50% (weapons, gear, man-labor, etc) then why not... worst case scenario you keep the land.



Airsoft is quite popular on eastern europe and russia.

I suppose your worst enemy on a region so lowly populated, would be people saying "fuck it, let's buy a couple of weapons and go to any random forest".

Me and Satch have been apart of a Air soft Group, and would have continued to be so I'd it was not for our members moving and it's is a very expensive sport i u want good weapons and equipment. Gas weapons with blow back gives the most realistic feeling, thoughts expensive in some ways, apart from that the bonus with gas vs electric is that the gas rifles can stand cold, heat, damp and rain much better than electric, also the electric have a safty fuse and if that goes the rifle is dead.

Now paint ball vs airsoft, u can fire bulltes faster and further and more of them with air soft, also there are a lot more dangers with it when you add snipers, like us we had 2 incidents one a guy got his front tooth shoot out and another got shot in head to close to rifle safety range and the bullet stuck in his skin and he got a concussion and had to be driven off, this was at a major play of around 400-800 players.

So for that realistic bullets wizzing past your head feeling go airsoft, and paint ball is fun in small enclosed spaces but even then it's not that accurate so you have to some times "lobb" the shots to make em go the distance.

Best way to make sure that its something that is needed is to Hedh prices at other nation wide air soft gaming arenas see what they offer, check the local areas, also check safety regulations, also check popularity at the local air soft range by calling diff hours of week and see if there are any spare times to play, see when they are the busiest and them extrapolate if that is enough business to make a second company also is there a way to attract new members or other such gatherings as company parties or birthdays or stag dos etc

Anyway, yea i know that cold weather is not the ultimate for gas, but even so, ive had less problems with gas than with electric ones tbfh.

And you saying that fuse can just be replaced with copper wire? Well that just sounds so silly it might just work dangit! ^^ But tbh, i have no idea, but i do know that when i disassemble a electric rifle and a gas driven one, the gas one is way WAY easier to disassemble and get back in one piece without breaking it, while the electric ones are a lot trickier. And also seeing as the gas ones i have previewed have similar constructions to the real rifle (had a joyous time in the states comparing them) assembling and cleaning makes it that much easier.

and concerning satch's  comment about the comment about girls and boys, well in all honesty, we do have separate sports for the different sexes, also considering that girls have what thousands or more pain receptors than men, they are more "Manly" then men when they participate in paint ball or the like, and also in that aspect totally understandable that they would choose laser tag, since there pain is a lot worse than "ours".
