Covering your body with paint shows a district lack of character or confidence. It's vanity or vainglory, a sign of weakness. Like make-up or jewelry for men.

You know, the problem with the things you say is that your serious posts are indistinguishable from your troll posts.

I almost believe that in this generation. Everyone is getting tattoos, because everyone else is. It is the trendy thing to do and many are sucked in by the fade of it.

25 years ago when I got my first tattoo, I got it because of my love for music and the "edginess" of it. I got it high on my shoulder for fear of being outcast for having a tattoo.

15 years ago I got the second one, the Harley Tat. My wife and I were on our honeymoon: a 20 day Harley trip, sleeping in tents.

So while I agree that many of today's young people are getting tattoos out of vanity and a yearning for acceptance, not all of them are.

That depends entirely on what kind of tattoo you get.

If you get some standard tribal stuff, just because it 'looks cool' then yeah, maybe.

Getting a tattoo for a reason though, which symbolises something, hardly shows a lack of character, the opposite in fact.

In my opinion, anyway

Even though you showed less butt than I had hoped for I must say that your tattoo is a true work of art.

Did my tattoo have a good enough reason?

It symbolizes the heavy burden all mankind has to carry on their shoulders. The hardships they face in dealing with the one known as Deadbolt; and the strife brought upon them from his ass sucking ways. No butt is safe when Deadbolt's lips grows a hunger for ass.

Thats why i have no tattoo, there has been nothing i feel that has happened significant enough to make into a tattoo. And i would never want one that someone else has, (ie: the 'usual' ones such as barbed wire. Group tattoo's like military units etc. are different)

I've always wanted to get my family coat of arms as a tattoo but I have never found an artist I trust enough to do it justice.

I knew a guy who wanted a tattoo badly, so a grop of us went into town. The guy didn't know what to get so someone suggested something which he thought was cool.

It was in Latin but he guy liked the translation. He got it running from his wrist to his elbow on the inside of the forearm.

AFTER the work was done, he asked what it's from.

It's the regimental motto for the guy who suggested it and NOT the one who got it.
Fuck did I have some good laughs. Guy gets a tattoo of a different units motto.

About the only thing I could see myself getting at this point is a maple leaf or the crescent moon.

This thread: All of my fucks......

On another note, I'd like a tattoo, something to symbolize my background and culture. To show pride in where i come from. I believe the place your born from and the blood that runs trough you veins should be a part of who you are, separating you from other people in a certain respect. I try to make a great impression on people as i represent more than myself. I represent my country and the people in it too. I do believe I'm starting to sounds like a pedantic bastard Tongue Unfortunately, not many people do now-adays. Especially my fucking generation. With all these damn swag-fags and fucking scene kids.
