Maus has no place in EIR
I don't care if it is balanced or not, the tin can has to go.

Whose great idea was to add unrealistic prototype?
hell, why not even add eselschreck?

Dat realism argument in balance forums roflk

Want to complain about Ostwind too since they were only replacing wirbels in late 45 while we have maps that are set in 1944 france setting?

Yeah, because EiRR and CoH is so grounded in realism, with it's 5-6 75mm rounds to kill a Sherman, and infantry that can survive direct tank shell hits.

Yup. Realism. Perfect argument.

Maus is fine as a unit, just needs it's armour or health coming down now it can actually move/reach things. Probably gonna bring it's armour down as it's pretty batshit (Tiger armour -50% received pen, likely gonna come down to -30%, being 10% better than KT armour)

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

You know what else were prototype tanks that fought maybe one localized engagements at best? Super Pershings.

All I'm saying is that Maus is way overboard.

Yes, Ostwinds and wirbels were few but they did exist and was functional.
Yes, only couple of pershings saw combat but it was in service well after WW2.
Maus? nope. none. zero.

What is this, World of Tanks?

It's a reward unit.

Infact, there is only ONE Maus currently active in EiRR.

Grab a sticky or a mine then avoid it for the game.

You know whats even more unrealistic and unhistorical than the maus is?

KCH squads.

I'm just saying that at least there were no plans to pull together knights cross veterans and put them in small squads, lol

Maus? nope.

Actually 2 Maus did exist and were functional, they may not have seen combat but they were functional.

then stop playing against nikomas, considering only 1 person has it, thats the only way to see it functional.
Maus stays.

Europe in Ruins has always been a kind of "What If?" war scenario, considering the whole premise is to conduct the war as you see fit.

So, its not such a stretch that you can see late war prototype vehicles running around.

The skink and the black prince are two prototypes i can think of off hand that were not only designated to be Prototypes, but were also used in war.

Just being a prototype doesn't mean something couldn't have ended up used

MAUS POWER!

I don't think telling someone to avoid a player is really the answer to a questionable unit.......

I personally feel the maus is more on the eselschreck side of game play then not. It is kinda gimmicky and has the potential of making our game look a little cheezy tbh.

I have not played with, or against it, so I really do not give a shit about it's balance. I just think it is a silly unit to have in the game.
