Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Well lets think about it. They have a good development base.
Dice: Battlefield Series
Bioware: Mass effect series
Visceral: Dead space series

Dice doing a new battlefront game? Sounds pretty good no?

Bioware of viseral doing a 3rd person shooter game? Hell yes.

But it is EA managing them. So there probably will be so much fucking DLC and micro transactions.

Look, Battlefront was always the "3rd person Battlefield Starwars" game so having a proper "Battlefield:SW" game made by dice seems good in my book. It's not that they haven't gone partially sci fi before what with BF2142.

Bioware giving the proper kotor sieries another run, I'd like to give that a chance even with how ME ended, I'd need some convincing but another shot at it has merit.

Visceral doing a third person game (preferably rated 15+) could also turn out cool, something along the lines of SW 1313, I think they could pull it off.

Basically, would you rather activision or ubisoft do it? Cause I say fuck no to that.

I can imagine what a giant clusterfuck it will be with both EA and Disney meddling with the development. Sure, I want to be proven wrong with some solid SW games but I don't find it likely.

Lets be perfectly honest, its not like Lucas Arts has really done much with Starwars games the past couple of years.

It's not like Lucas Arts has done anything worth while in a long time....

bioware made the swkotor series, so hopefully they'll make a third and it will be excellent.

I think it's great that George Lucas no longer owns the rights because clearly he just wasn't up to it, Jar Jar Binks was made under his watch 'nuff said.

But the alternative couldn't be much worse than this, EA and Disney in the same boat omfg.

On the other hand, Disney does a lot of good stuff (Marvel movies) too. EA is a bit spotty but they have done a lot of good titles as well.

I'm not sure on Bioware anymore since their complete destruction of SWToR.

Bioware in the last bit has only disappointed, sure the mass effect series was great,  but it clearly slid from game to game. And the Dragon Age series was quite possibly one of the worst games i have ever played, and calling it a spiritual successor to Never winter Nights and Baldurs Gate is just laughable.

But the alternative couldn't be much worse than this, EA and Disney in the same boat omfg.

I have yet to see a really bad Disney movie, even the worst Pirates of the Caribbean  movie was enjoyable and they really seem to have it down how to best use a series. (The Marvel phased plan is quite smart)

As to EA, they are hit and miss at times. New management is coming in, so i am willing to wait and see.

Dragon Age: Origins was pretty damned epic tbh.

Dragon Age 2 was laughable though.

The problem with Disney in this case is their top-down approach, they are EXTREMELY picky about their brands. Now combine this with EA, a company even more notorious for their executive meddling and you got a problem.

I'm pretty sure disney is not going to interfeer THAT much in the games to be perfectly honest, the whole reason a deal like this took place is that it is convenient for Disney.

If you look back a few months they have almost completely dismantled their AAA game development and publishing, a few years back they made an effort to get in on that with those racing games and the like, but they've pretty much backtracked on that entirely.

It'd be very reasonable to see this move as "We get a bunch of money from EA for the exclusive license, they'll take care of the game end and we'll see a bunch of money from it". Disney has made it pretty clear that they do NOT want to deal with larger game development, thus this deal.

It may be off, but this is by far the likeliest explanation.

EA as developers of Star Wars games? Thats fine.

But as Exclusive developers of star wars games? Hell no.

Dragon Age: Origins was pretty damned epic tbh.
Im only like 30% through and I think that with every minute of gameplay I rack up this becomes more and more of a accurate statement about the game.
