Would be real nice if anyone could make a list of what they are actually good for , especially the tanks.
No need for big rgd magic, just a little rundown.

Allied Vehs :

Super Pershing - AT killer, not very good vs infantry
Bofors HT - Infantry killer
Da Roo - Heavy HT. Useful to move your commando (especially sniper commando).
Wasp Bren - Croc without gun.
Heavy ATG - Slow, but sure.
Crusader AA - Anti inf, Anti lvs
Dodge Ambulance - Moving Triage
M8 Scoot - Anti inf, low dmg vs lvs and tanks
Chafee - Best lv in game, like wolf (one isn't good, but 3 of them are raping errthing).
Cuckoo - Cheaper Panther, also... Shit
T57 - Arty, Best Accuracy, tons of dmg, low splash.
Slugger - Better M10
Achilles - Faster ff with smaller range and lower survability
Comet - Better Cromwell

Allied infantry :

Marines - Better rangers
Anzacs - Tommies with thompsons + smoke

Axis vehs :

Maus - Big steel wall with good gun. Easy to counter with mines and stickies.
JagdPanzer IV - Better Hetzer
Flakpanzer IV - Best Anti-Air in game + Nice anti-infantry.
Tiger Ace - Good at everything, but not the best.
Elephant - better Marder
JagTiger - Better StuH
Nashorn - Moving 88. Needs 10 sec for Lockdown.
Brumbaer - Axis AVRE
P2 - Fast and Furious AI.
Wespe - Very Accurate 3-shot Artillery piece.

Axis infantry :

Elite grens - Better grenadiers with really nice accuracy
Support Grens - Cheap 3-man squad with LMG. Good suppresion.
FMJ sniper - PE sniper.

Tell me if I forgot about sth.

EDIT :

M3Lee : Hard to explain ... Hicks ?

Allied Vehs :

Super Pershing - A Pershing with +5 range, and HVAP penetration by default - Can't hit inf for shit at 40-45 range. Otherwise is a tougher Pershing.
Bofors HT - Infantry and LV killer
Da Roo - Needs a purpose.
Wasp Bren - Croc without gun.
Heavy ATG - Equal or better to a standard ATG in every way.
Crusader AA - Anti inf, Anti lvs
Dodge Ambulance - Moving Triage
M8 Scoot - Anti inf, low dmg vs lvs and tanks
Chafee - Best lv in game, strength lies in ridiculous speed.
Cuckoo - Cheaper Panther, works well when supported, works more like an armoured lower ranged Firefly than an actual Panther.
T57 - Arty, Best Accuracy, tons of dmg, low splash.
Slugger - Pershing HVAP gun without the splash. Will penetrate and deal high damage to everything besides a Maus or a JP, in which case there's only a small chance it wont.
Achilles - Faster ff with smaller range and lower survability
Comet - Pershing lite.

Allied infantry :

Marines - 5 Man squad of Grenadiers.
Anzacs - Tommies with thompsons + smoke

Axis vehs :

Maus - Big steel wall with good gun. Easy to counter with mines and stickies.
JagdPanzer IV - Works like a pointed PzIV without gun upgrade, and a pointed Panther with it.
Flakpanzer IV - Best Anti-Air in game + Nice anti-infantry.
Tiger Ace - Makes up for every shortfall the standard Tiger ever had.
Elephant - Slow but 60 range JP
JagTiger - Rapes anything on legs in the face, including ATG's, and can deal heavy damage to tanks if they sit still
Nashorn - Moving 88.

Made some generalist changes and highlighted them in bold.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

As in HE to AP?

Yeah, it does quite a bit.

AP rounds have 45 range, minimal splash, increased penetration and a slight reduction in damage.

HE rounds are for all intents and purposes standard Tiger rounds, they may have a bit more splash but I'd have to double check.

At what range do they obliterate infantry, cuz that appears to be the distance my infantry hang out when the SP cruises by................

Those are called 'tank' modifiers. Which means 30% more accuracy on all of your units!

Medium range would be approximately where they get 75% acc vs stationary infantry, 37,5 % vs moving infantry though. I'm amazed that SPs get a lot of infantry kills whenever I saw them in the battlefields.

Well there is the E8 model but I suppose, if you could figure out what to do with it aside from "Slightly faster sherman".
