poor sappers. 4 men, soldier armor, medicore rifles. Meanwhile Pios and engineers run around with proper MP40s going "YEEHAAAW I CAN KILL SMTH".

can't tell whats more awesome.

Fighting hordes of elite armored storms at 4-5 pool.

Or instagibbing tigers/pershings.

Pretty big fan though of the marders/50mm always killing jeeps on contact.

Le spend 18pop for 2 tommies and officers get le killed by 10 pop storms.

Nikolai bring flame sappers. its k i bring pios with flames.




Marders and 50mm always killing moving jeeps at long range with 45 and 39% accuracy? Sounds like some bad luck esp since the jeep has 185 health and can usually take one shot.

Flame sappers is shut.  Only time they were good was in mario carts, now nerfed into oblivion. They need some serious looking at.

Tommy squad with 4 men, 3 enfields and a flamethrower and they carry a soldier armor. Now what is wrong with them? Tell why they are shut down. How have you used them? What is the purposed change? What are they lacking? Etc. Just saying <unit> is up buff won't bring anything out of it.

Imo the pak38 got thehardest beating by far. It might be still be usefull at fighting medium tanks(as long as they dont circlestrafe) but it will be pretty useless agaist pershings(maybe jumbos too) now.

I mean as far as I know the ambush shot was the only way it could penenetrate it.



On another related topic how's a pershing suposed to be countered by a whermatch player with no doctrinal/reward units now? I mean if the paks cant do the job panthers/p4/stug are really innefective at it and shreks are even more outranged.
There Might be an option but i just dont see it

Pak's do the job fine even if you don't penetrate. Bounces do 50% damage on ATG's, couple this with the Pak38's high ROF and it'll reliably chip away at a Pershing's health. Cloak is more the icing on the cake than anything else.

Shrecks are still effective vs Pershings they just can't be used as offensively. If you really want a Pershing dead, a Panther and a Shreck/Pak is liable to fuck it up as WM. Panther snipes away at it, if the Pershing closes then the Shreck engages. Mines are also a good option, be it standard or Volks crippling traps.

Doctrinally speaking, all 3 doctrines also have solid options. Blitz has the Tiger/Storms, Terror has the KT, Defensive has the Pak40/88.

The Pershing now has longer range, higher accuracy and high splash. There is no scenario where the schrecks can get close enough to even fire at it. Especially not after cloaking stormtroopers have been removed.

Why should stormtroopers cloak in cover?? they're infiltration troops. Now they've just become mimics of assault grenadiers. Vet 1 should be moving cloak and vet 0 cloak in cover.

Tigers and Pershings have become so overpowered that everyone started using them and they roll everything.

Double zchrck blitz stormies are still pretty lethal. Works much the same way as fire up on allied leet inf, zero supression plus a boost to ROF.
ONLY now you have a chance to see them coming rather then the active camouflage bs of yesteryear.

Double schrecks should still out dmg and attrition a pershing even without OP cloak.

Tigers and Pershings seriously need to be toned down.  Watching them attack ground at 45 range and splash poor backpeddling infantry to death while amusing probably isn't the way to go.  Take off the range or lower the inf accuracy again.  I've been watching ppl troll around with both every game since patch.  By increasing both and tiger base speed you've basically taken the stupid out of the tank.

I still strongly believe Marders need lockdown standard.  Players tend to retain ATG vet because of decrews from snipers, mortars, non-assault infantry attacks, splash attacks that don't instagib the entire crews.  PE is stuck with 50mm HTs that shoot something like 3 times slower than 50mm paks and Marders that aren't all that much better as a heavy AT option w/o lockdown, are harder to retain vet in the EiRR environment, and can not be recrewed.

On the Hotch Stuka, I am not sure what type of dice your rolling where you are landing exactly on two support weapons in one 4 rocket barrage.  I've just as easily landed a rocket almost on top of an ATG have it done nothing.  My suggestion would to buff the barrage (dmg or suppression, or projectile speed/rof), or open up smoke rockets as standard.  If a nerf is needed you could simply lower the infantry accuracy.  With that change the main gun isn't doing much besides killing HT armor or jeeps, occassionally damaging M8 and Stuart armor, and getting a lucky rear pen on M10 armor.

I would go with reduce the accuracy against infantry, the main issue with the tiger was that it had to be face first in whatever it was firing at so whatever it needed to kill was going to be able to and do more damadge in the long run but after they changed that to mostly only ATGs, But when they add back the doctrines(if they ever are gonna do that) stacking the tiger with Panzer ace is gonna make it !!Hilarious!! (think of the word like a super gay guy would say it), Reducing it to like 0.6-65 would make it similar to how the panther used to be with the infantry sniping only way less insane.

i need to admit that i thought the Persh/Tiger changes were good. (although i was always statisfied with persh performance.)

-The range buff... well it could stay, make them to the beast they should be.
-The accuracy buff... actually this needs to go. Long range chance to hit inf of 63% is just crazy - no need to tell what happens with vet 2 or panzer aces.
-Pershing and tiger should differ in AoE since the Persh has to kill less man.
-KT inf accuracy of 0,6 was defnitly the right step. but i should be 0,75 So that you have a chance of 56% to hit inf on long range (currently 45%)
-Speed increase, well idk

if you play vs someone with half a brain nades aren't good enough, and spammable mainline inf shouldn't be a valid argument when trying to balance a mod, its not balanced if the cure is to spam that unit.
